Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul Axcess Custom Widow Figured Electric Guitar in Peacock Blue

The Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul Axcess Custom Widow Figured in Peacock Blue takes the timeless Les Paul recipe and refines it into a sleek, modern performance machine. You still get the unmistakable punch, sustain and authority of a proper Custom Shop LP, but with a lighter, more contoured body, a sculpted heel and versatile electronics that make it feel faster, more expressive and far easier to live with on stage or in the studio.

Finished in a stunning Peacock Widow gloss nitrocellulose lacquer, this guitar looks every bit as bold as it sounds. The AAA figured maple top shifts between deep blues and moody purples depending on the light, while the ebony fingerboard and dark hardware give it a stealthy, aggressive edge. It is a standout piece that looks ultra premium without ever feeling over the top.

Underneath that finish you will find the classic Les Paul tonewood combination of a mahogany body with a figured maple cap, paired with a mahogany neck and ebony fingerboard. The result is a powerful, mid rich voice with plenty of low end weight, enhanced by extra snap and articulation from the ebony board. Thanks to the Axcess body contours and sculpted heel, upper fret access is dramatically improved, so big bends and wide vibrato high up the neck feel natural and effortless.

Loaded with a 496R humbucker in the neck and a hotter 498T in the bridge, the Axcess Custom Widow Figured covers everything from thick, singing classic rock tones to saturated modern gain sounds with huge sustain and bite. Push pull coil split controls on the tone knobs unlock brighter, more open voices that sit beautifully in a mix, making this one of the most versatile takes on a Les Paul Custom you are likely to find.

Modern Axcess Comfort

The Axcess platform introduces carefully carved body contours and a sculpted neck heel that transform the way a Les Paul feels. You still get the reassuring weight and resonance of a solid mahogany body, but with a more ergonomic shape that hugs the player and makes long sets far more comfortable. High fret access is vastly improved too, so solos above the 15th fret feel fluid rather than like a fight.

Peacock Widow AAA Figured Top

The Peacock Widow gloss nitrocellulose finish and AAA figured maple top give this guitar a striking, high end aesthetic. The top shifts between deep blue and darker purple hues under stage lights, while the dark appointments keep the overall look focused and aggressive. It is a finish that looks unique and luxurious, helping this Les Paul stand out in any collection.

High Output Versatile Electronics

A 496R neck humbucker and 498T bridge humbucker provide a powerful, harmonically rich voice that excels with both classic and modern gain levels. From thick, vocal neck tones to cutting bridge aggression, the dynamic range is huge. The push pull coil split controls add another layer of versatility, delivering brighter, more single coil like textures that are ideal for cleans, edge of break up tones and rhythm parts that need extra clarity.

Rock Solid Hardware

With an ABR 1 Tune O Matic bridge, stopbar tailpiece and Grover locking tuners, this Les Paul Axcess Custom Widow Figured is built for stability. Intonation is precise, tuning is secure and the overall feel is reassuringly solid, so you can dig in with confidence. It is a guitar that invites you to play hard and explore its full dynamic range without worrying about it slipping out of tune.
