Furch Violet Series GC-NM a Masters Choice Electro Acoustic Guitar

The Furch Violet Series GC-NM Master's Choice is a premium electro acoustic grand auditorium that distils Furch's flagship technologies into an accessible, stage-ready instrument. With a torrefied Engelmann spruce top, individually voiced top and back, ergonomic Bevel Duo and LR Baggs HiFi electronics, it delivers a mature, open tone and superb playing comfort straight out of the case.

Designed as the pinnacle of the Violet line, this Master's Choice model brings together carefully selected tonewoods, advanced voicing and thoughtful player-focused details. Whether you are recording, performing or writing at home, it offers a refined, inspiring response with excellent balance, projection and clarity, along with a natural amplified sound that is easy to control on stage.

Flagship Master's Choice Design

The Violet GC-NM Master's Choice represents the top specification within the Violet Series, handpicked by Furch's master luthiers. Every element from the tonewoods to the neck profile and electronics has been chosen to work together as a complete, professional-grade package. You get the essence of Furch's high-end design philosophy in a single, carefully curated model, removing the guesswork and giving you a guitar that simply works in every musical situation.

Torrefied Engelmann Spruce Top

At the heart of the guitar is a solid torrefied Engelmann spruce top, aged using Furch's proprietary heat-treatment process. This controlled torrefaction mimics decades of natural ageing, opening up the wood for a warmer, more responsive and dynamically rich tone. The result is a guitar that sounds played-in from day one, with a sweet, articulate top end and a wide dynamic range that responds beautifully to both a light touch and more aggressive strumming.

Individually Voiced Top and Back

Both the top and African mahogany back are individually voiced to maximise their acoustic potential. Furch's voicing process carefully tunes each soundboard to achieve outstanding balance across the frequency spectrum, excellent projection and a lively, immediate response. Chords ring with clarity and separation, single notes have focus and sustain, and the guitar feels exceptionally responsive under the fingers, making it a joy for fingerstyle, flatpicking and strumming alike.

Booster Soundport and Bevel Duo Comfort

The integrated Booster Soundport on the upper side of the body directs more of the guitar's natural sound towards you, giving the impression of a wider, more immersive soundstage without altering the instrument's projection into the room. Combined with the Bevel Duo arm and rib bevels, the GC-NM offers outstanding comfort for long sessions, reducing pressure points on your picking arm and body so you can focus entirely on your playing.

Stage-ready LR Baggs HiFi Electronics

Factory-fitted LR Baggs HiFi electronics ensure the Violet GC-NM Master's Choice is ready for any stage or studio. Using a pair of lightweight bridge-plate sensors, the system captures the natural acoustic character of the guitar with impressive balance, detail and dynamics. The soundhole-mounted controls keep everything discreet and easily accessible, giving you a clear, musical amplified tone that sits perfectly in a mix with minimal fuss.

• Torrefied Engelmann Spruce Top - The solid A-grade Engelmann spruce top is torrefied using Furch's in-house process to deliver a mature, open voice from new. You benefit from enhanced warmth, responsiveness and dynamic range, so the guitar feels and sounds like a well-played favourite the moment you pick it up.
• Individually Voiced Top and Back - Both the top and African mahogany back are individually voiced to optimise resonance and balance. This gives you a highly responsive instrument with excellent projection and clarity, ideal for players who demand nuance and consistency across different styles and tunings.
• Booster Soundport with Bevel Duo - The Booster Soundport projects more of the guitar's sound towards you, making monitoring easier and more enjoyable, while the dual bevels on the top and back edges improve comfort. Together they create a more immersive playing experience and reduce fatigue during long rehearsals or gigs.
• LR Baggs HiFi Electronics - The LR Baggs HiFi system with twin bridge-plate sensors and soundhole-mounted controls delivers a natural, articulate amplified tone. It captures the guitar's acoustic character with impressive detail and low noise, giving you a plug-in-and-play solution that works equally well for live performance and recording.
