If you have placed your order online, you will receive a confirmation email of your order and a separate follow-up text or email to confirm when your item is ready for collection.
Please do not come to the store before you have received the follow-up message, as your order may not yet be ready at the store.
If the only available stock is in our off-site warehouse it can be brought to the store location for you to try - you just need to contact the store within opening hours. Please note any requests received after 3.30pm will not arrive at the store until the following morning.

A neck built for modern players
One of the real highlights of the Fender Japan Active Modern Jazz Bass is its ultra-playable neck. Crafted from Maple with a silky-smooth satin urethane finish on the back, the Modern “C” profile feels right at home whether you’re locking in deep grooves or heading higher up the neck for melodic runs. Medium jumbo frets give you confident control, while the compound radius Rosewood fingerboard feels comfortable in the lower registers and gradually flattens out as you move towards the dusty end.
Hum-free performance, built-in boost
The electronics are where this Jazz Bass really sets itself apart. Fender’s noiseless system uses an additional coil hidden under the pickguard to help cancel hum without compromising your core tone. It’s paired with Premium Vintage-Style pickups, so you still get plenty of classic Jazz Bass growl, punch and clarity. Need a little more bite? Hit the push/push control to engage the Turbo Tone gain boost and help your lines jump out of the mix.
