Product Description
The Fender Made in Japan Hybrid II 2026 Collection Stratocaster really lives up to its name. This is a guitar that blends classic Strat vibes with thoroughly modern performance, making it a brilliant all‑rounder for just about any player. It combines vintage‑inspired looks with specs that feel bang up to date. And whether you’re a rhythm player, a lead shredder or someone who does a bit of everything, this Strat is designed to feel instantly familiar yet seriously capable.
Comfortable, modern playability
Starting with the feel, the modern “C” Maple neck is a total winner. It’s comfortable in the hand, fast without being too skinny and paired with a smooth satin urethane finish that never gets sticky. The 9.5” radius Rosewood fingerboard strikes a great balance between vintage charm and modern ergonomics, while the narrow tall frets make bends easy and precise. Add a bone nut, classic 25.5” scale length and rock‑solid Japanese build quality, and you’ve got a Strat that plays great straight out of the included gig bag.
Classic Strat tones with a contemporary edge
Tonally, the custom-voiced Hybrid II pickups absolutely nail it. You get all those shimmering Strat cleans, glassy in‑between quack tones and punchy bridge sounds, but with a modern clarity and balance that works across loads of genres. The traditional 5‑way switching keeps things flexible, while the smart tone control layout lets you tame the top end exactly where you need it.
Premium hardware, vintage style
Rounding things off nicely is a classy hardware setup that perfectly suits the Hybrid II concept. The 2‑point synchronized tremolo delivers smooth, stable action while retaining that classic Strat look thanks to its vintage‑style stamped steel saddles. Vintage‑style locking tuners keep everything solid and make restringing a doddle, while the black nickel hardware and aluminium‑style pickguard give it a subtle modern twist.

- Vintage‑style locking tuners: Provide retro looks with modern tuning stability, keeping string changes quick and your tuning rock‑solid through long sessions and hard playing.
