Featuring a ‘60s C-shaped Maple neck with a 7.25” radius and Narrow Tall frets, this Double Esquire strikes the perfect balance of speed and comfort and is a pleasure to play up and down the fingerboard, no matter what genre. Its Ash body provides a well-rounded tone with sweet and clear articulation and a lively musical resonance.

We pushed the limits even further by selecting a special Nitrocellulose Road Worn finish which has been specifically aged to mimic the natural ageing and finish checking that occurs over time, even after only the most careful use. Its duo of Fender Custom Shop ’51 Nocaster pickups provides the quintessential Tele twang that helped put the Electric Guitar on the map, and its Classic Series hardshell case offers premium protection both at home and on the road.

‘51 Nocaster Pickups

The Fender Custom Shop ’51 Nocaster (Telecaster) pickups are faithful recreations of quite possibly the most historically important electric guitar pickups ever to be produced… the set that started it all. Constructed using period-correct fibre bobbins and cloth wire, flush (no stagger) Alnico 3 magnets with Enamel-coated magnet wire and a Tin-plated Copper base plate, these vintage-accurate pickups produce the esteemed shimmer and twang that early Teles are famed for. These medium-output pickups produce a balanced tone with a clear and focused midrange and a tight low-end, and work well with all playing styles.
