If you have placed your order online, you will receive a confirmation email of your order and a separate follow-up text or email to confirm when your item is ready for collection.
Please do not come to the store before you have received the follow-up message, as your order may not yet be ready at the store.
If the only available stock is in our off-site warehouse it can be brought to the store location for you to try - you just need to contact the store within opening hours. Please note any requests received after 3.30pm will not arrive at the store until the following morning.

Andertons are pleased to offer this Fender Custom Shop Vintage Custom ’59 Stratocaster in Candy Apple Red. As with other instruments in the Fender Custom Shop Vintage Custom lineup, this Strat authentically represents a pivotal year in Fender's history and offers an instrument that showcases some less-common features found on rarer, highly collectable examples.
This ’59 Strat features a 9.5” fingerboard, which is a feature that has been found on some very rare examples of pre-CBS Fenders. Its Hand-wound ’59 neck and middle pickups help provide the ultimate glassy Strat tones, which is perfectly complemented by its more powerful Fat ‘60s bridge pickup. Its Flash Coat Nitro finish allows for even more sustain and resonance, and other standout vintage-accurate features include its clay fingerboard dots and 8 Hole pickguard.
‘60s C Oval Shape Neck
The neck that can do everything! Not too thin and not too fat, just right no matter what style of playing you want to play that day. The neck is big enough that you can still wrap your thumb over and feel the whole guitar shake as you strum the strings as hard as you can yet still thin enough that you can effortlessly shred up and down the neck.

- Time Capsule - Fender’s Time Capsule portrays a vintage instrument in near-new condition. There is no real ageing, but its NOS Lacquer has lost some of its sheen, and some parts of the metal hardware show slight oxidation.
- Flash Coat - Nitrocellulose Lacquer is painted on in flash coats to ensure the thinnest, most vintage-accurate finishes ever. The thin skin provides even greater resonance as well as a finish that naturally ages beautifully with increased checking.
- 9.50” Radius - Fender’s modern fingerboard radius favoured by many for its comfort and versatility.
- Oval 60s C - The perfect middle ground between a modern slim C-shaped neck and a more vintage-style shape. It perfectly hugs your hand without feeling clumpy.
