Product Description
The Fender Coastline 57 Stratocaster Pickup Set captures the sparkle, snap and sweetness of a golden-era Strat, with a touch more warmth and punch for modern players. Based on Fender’s Pure Vintage designs and built in the USA, this calibrated trio of single-coils delivers classic chime and clarity while adding extra depth, focus and harmonic richness to every note.
Using period-correct fibre bobbins, cloth-covered wiring and staggered, bevelled Alnico 5 magnets, Coastline 57 pickups stay true to the feel and response of a well-loved late 50s Stratocaster. Slightly overwound coils and Formvar-coated magnet wire enhance dynamics and presence, so your clean tones shimmer and your driven sounds cut through the mix without getting harsh. Whether you are restoring a vintage-style Strat or upgrading a workhorse, these pickups give you that unmistakable Fender character with a refined, studio-ready voice.
Each pickup is wax potted to keep feedback under control on loud stages, and the reverse-wound, reverse-polarity middle pickup provides hum-cancelling in positions 2 and 4. Finished with vintage white covers and supplied with installation hardware, the Coastline 57 set is a straightforward drop-in upgrade for players chasing authentic Strat tone with a little extra muscle.
Vintage-Inspired 57 Strat Tone
Coastline 57 Stratocaster pickups are voiced around classic late 50s single-coils, giving you the bright, glassy top end and woody midrange that defined early Strat sounds. The moderate output keeps your dynamics intact, so subtle picking nuances and volume-knob work feel natural and expressive.
Alnico 5 Punch with Extra Warmth
Bevelled Alnico 5 magnets provide a tight, focused low end and crisp attack, ideal for everything from clean rhythm to articulate lead work. The coils are slightly overwound to add warmth, body and sustain, helping your tone sit confidently in a band mix without losing that unmistakable Strat sparkle.
Balanced String Response and Reduced Hum
Staggered pole pieces are carefully set to balance volume across all six strings, giving you even output whether you are playing chords or single-note lines. The reverse-wound middle pickup works with the neck and bridge in positions 2 and 4 to cancel hum, so you can enjoy classic in-between tones with significantly reduced noise.
Period-Correct Construction, Modern Reliability
Formvar-coated magnet wire, fibre bobbins and cloth-covered leads recreate the look and feel of original-era Fender pickups, while wax potting helps resist microphonic feedback and protects the internal wiring. You get authentic vintage styling backed up by dependable performance on stage and in the studio.
