Product Description
The ESP LTD M-6 Baritone ET Black Metal II is a brutally focused, extended-scale weapon built for ultra-low tunings, surgical precision and rock-solid tuning stability. With a 30 inch baritone scale, EverTune bridge and a single Seymour Duncan Mortal Coil active humbucker, it is purpose-built for modern metal players who want tight, defined low end and a stripped-back, stage-ready aesthetic.
Combining a mahogany body with a maple cap, a bolt-on 3-piece maple neck and a slick Makassar ebony fingerboard, the M-6 Baritone ET delivers a fast, responsive feel that keeps up with the most demanding technical riffing. The Black Redburst Satin finish and blackout hardware complete the Black Metal II look, while premium details like XJ stainless steel frets and LTD locking tuners underline its professional, performance-driven spec.
Whether you are tuning down to B, F sharp or even lower, the extended 30 inch scale and heavy D'Addario XL156 string set keep everything tight and articulate. The Mortal Coil bridge pickup offers three distinct active voices from a single-pickup layout, letting you move from crushing rhythm tones to cutting leads and more atmospheric sounds without cluttering the guitar with extra controls.
If you need a baritone that stays in tune, hits hard and looks as mean as it sounds, the ESP LTD M-6 Baritone ET Black Metal II is built to be the centrepiece of your modern metal rig.
Extended 30 Inch Baritone Scale
The 30 inch baritone scale length is designed to handle seriously low tunings while retaining clarity and feel. Increased string tension keeps the low strings tight and controlled, reducing flub and muddiness so your riffs stay punchy and defined, even with the included ultra-heavy D'Addario XL156 set.
EverTune Bridge Stability
The EverTune bridge is engineered to maintain consistent tuning and intonation across changing temperatures, aggressive picking and long sets. Once dialled in, it dramatically reduces the need for retuning, giving you the confidence to focus on your performance in both live and studio environments.
Seymour Duncan Mortal Coil 3 Voice Active Pickup
The Seymour Duncan Mortal Coil active bridge humbucker delivers three selectable voices from a single pickup, accessed via the dedicated voice toggle. From tight, high-output aggression to more open and articulate tones, it gives you versatile sound shaping without complicating the control layout.
Fast Neck and Premium Playability
A bolt-on 3-piece maple neck with an Extra Thin U contour and Makassar ebony fingerboard offers a fast, modern feel ideal for technical rhythm and lead work. The 350 mm radius and 24 XJ stainless steel frets provide a smooth, durable playing surface that encourages low action and precise execution across the entire neck.
Features
- 30 Inch Baritone Scale - The extended 30 inch scale length keeps heavy gauge strings tight and responsive in very low tunings, improving note definition and intonation so complex chords and rapid-fire riffs remain clear.
- EverTune Fixed Bridge - Designed to hold tuning under extreme conditions, the EverTune bridge offers exceptional stability and consistent feel, making it ideal for touring players and precise studio tracking.
- Seymour Duncan Mortal Coil Active Humbucker - A single bridge-mounted Mortal Coil humbucker with three selectable voices delivers a wide tonal palette from one streamlined pickup, giving you everything from crushing high-gain rhythm to articulate lead tones at the flick of a switch.
- Black Metal II Aesthetic - The Black Redburst Satin finish, black hardware and minimalist single-pickup layout create a dark, uncompromising look that matches the guitar's aggressive sonic character.
