Product Description
The ESP LTD M-207DX Baritone is a sleek, extended-range workhorse built for modern heavy styles. With its 27 inch baritone scale, 7 string layout and powerful humbuckers, it is designed to keep low tunings tight and articulate while still feeling familiar under the fingers. A flamed maple top under See Thru Black Satin gives it a stage ready look that matches its aggressive performance.
Combining a poplar body with a roasted maple neck and rosewood fretboard, the M-207DX balances punch, clarity and comfort. The Extra Thin U neck contour, flat 400 mm radius and 24 XJ frets make fast riffing, wide stretches and intricate leads feel effortless. A Tune o Matic string thru bridge anchors everything down for rock solid tuning stability and impressive sustain, ideal for high gain rigs and tight rhythm work.
Electronics are kept simple and effective, with a pair of LTD LH 150 7 string humbuckers delivering the output and clarity needed for modern metal, djent and progressive styles. The push pull tone control adds extra versatility, letting you quickly shift character without losing focus or definition. Whether you are chugging in low tunings or cutting through the mix with soaring leads, the M-207DX is built to respond.
Visually, the flamed maple top and See Thru Black Satin finish give the guitar a refined, contemporary aesthetic that suits any stage. Black hardware and clean lines keep the focus on the playing experience, making this a practical, gig ready baritone that looks as sharp as it sounds.
Baritone Scale for Tight Low Tunings
The 27 inch baritone scale length increases string tension on lower tunings, helping your low B and beyond stay tight, defined and in tune. This makes palm muted riffs punch harder and chords sound clearer, even with heavier gauge strings and high gain settings.
Fast, Comfortable Roasted Maple Neck
A roasted maple neck with an Extra Thin U contour offers a smooth, stable platform for fast playing. The slim profile makes complex chords and extended range shapes easier to reach, while the roasting process enhances stability, helping the neck resist changes in temperature and humidity.
Flat Radius Rosewood Fretboard with XJ Frets
The rosewood fretboard features a flat 400 mm radius and 24 XJ frets, ideal for technical rhythm work and fluid lead playing. The flatter surface makes low action setups more comfortable and reduces fretting out on big bends, while the extra jumbo frets make vibrato and legato techniques feel effortless.
Powerful 7 String Humbuckers with Push Pull Control
Dual LTD LH 150 7 string humbuckers provide a strong, focused voice that excels with high gain tones. The HH configuration delivers thick rhythm sounds and singing leads, while the push pull tone control expands your tonal options, letting you quickly adapt to different songs and styles without changing guitars.
