ESP LTD KH602 Kirk Hammett Electric Guitar in Purple Sparkle

The ESP LTD KH-602 Kirk Hammett in Purple Sparkle is a high-performance signature guitar built for players who live on the heavier side of the fretboard. Taking its cues from Kirk’s own ESP Custom, it delivers blistering metal tones, ultra-fast playability and rock-solid tuning stability in a striking stage-ready finish that demands attention under the lights.

With neck-thru construction for endless sustain, EMG Kirk Hammett Bone Breaker active pickups for crushing clarity, and a Floyd Rose 1000 trem for extreme whammy work, this is a serious instrument for serious players. Whether you are tracking tight rhythm parts in the studio or tearing through solos on stage, the KH-602 is designed to keep up with every riff, run and divebomb you can throw at it.

Kirk Hammett Signature Performance

As part of the Kirk Hammett Signature Series, the KH-602 is built to handle the same kind of intense playing that defined some of metal’s most iconic records. From the skull-and-bones inlays to the fast extra thin U neck profile, every detail is geared towards aggressive riffing and fluid lead work. If you want a guitar that feels instantly familiar to fans of Kirk’s style, this is it.

Neck-Thru Sustain and Stability

The neck-thru-body construction with a three-piece maple neck and alder body gives the KH-602 exceptional sustain and tonal consistency across the entire fretboard. This design also improves upper fret access, making it easier to reach high-register bends and extended solos without fighting the instrument. It is a huge advantage for players who rely on long, singing notes and precise articulation.

EMG Bone Breaker Active Pickups

A matched set of EMG KH Bone Breaker active pickups delivers the tight, articulate sound modern metal demands. Expect razor-sharp attack, focused low end and clear highs that cut through dense mixes, even under heavy gain. Clean tones remain defined and punchy, while distorted sounds stay controlled and noise-free, ideal for complex riffs and fast alternate picking.

Floyd Rose 1000 Tremolo System

The Floyd Rose 1000 double-locking tremolo lets you dive, squeal and flutter without sacrificing tuning stability. Combined with the locking nut, it keeps your strings secure and in tune through aggressive trem use and heavy-handed playing. For players who rely on expressive vibrato and dramatic pitch effects, this bridge is a dependable workhorse.

Purple Sparkle Stage Presence

The Purple Sparkle finish is inspired by one of Kirk’s own custom instruments, giving the KH-602 a distinctive look that stands out under stage lighting. Paired with black hardware and the iconic skull-and-bones inlays, it creates a bold aesthetic that matches the guitar’s powerful sound. It is an ideal choice if you want your instrument to look as fierce as it sounds.
