Product Description
The ESP LTD Ben Burnley BB-200 Baritone is a powerful single cut signature model built to handle the low tunings and tight, aggressive tones that Breaking Benjamin fans demand. Centred around a 27 inch baritone scale, it delivers rock solid string tension, punchy attack and excellent note definition, even when tuned down for the heaviest riffs.
Combining a mahogany body with a maple cap and quilted maple top, the BB-200 offers a full, resonant core sound with added clarity and snap, all wrapped in a striking See Thru Black Sunburst Satin finish. A fast Thin U 3 piece maple neck with a rosewood fretboard and 24 XJ frets keeps everything feeling smooth and precise, whether you are chugging tight rhythms or cutting through with melodic leads.
Dual LTD LH 150 humbuckers with distinctive red bobbins provide the muscular, high energy tones needed for modern rock and metal, while the push pull tone control unlocks coil split sounds for added versatility. Finished with dependable LTD hardware and a familiar Tune o matic bridge and tailpiece, this is a no nonsense baritone built to perform on stage and in the studio.
Purpose Built Baritone Power
The 27 inch baritone scale length is designed specifically for lower tunings, giving you increased string tension and improved pitch stability compared to a standard scale guitar. This means tighter low end, clearer chords and less flabbiness when you tune down, so your riffs stay focused and defined in any heavy mix.
Resonant Mahogany Body with Quilted Maple Top
A mahogany body with a maple cap forms a rich, powerful tonal foundation with plenty of warmth and sustain. The quilted maple top not only adds extra brightness and definition, it also gives the BB 200 a premium, stage ready look beneath its See Thru Black Sunburst Satin finish.
Fast Thin U Neck and 24 Fret Access
The 3 piece maple neck with a Thin U contour offers a slim, comfortable feel that encourages fast playing and precise technique. Set neck construction enhances sustain and upper fret access, while the 24 XJ frets on the rosewood fingerboard provide a smooth, controlled surface for both rhythm and lead work.
High Output Humbuckers with Coil Split Versatility
The LTD LH 150 humbuckers in the neck and bridge positions deliver strong, punchy tones ideal for modern rock and metal, with the red bobbins adding a distinctive visual edge. A push pull tone control allows you to split the coils, opening up brighter, more single coil like sounds when you need extra versatility for clean passages or dynamic arrangements.
Features
- 27 Inch Baritone Scale - The extended 27 inch scale is optimised for lower tunings, providing firmer string tension and improved intonation. This keeps your low notes tight and articulate, making it easier to play heavy riffs without sacrificing clarity.
- Mahogany Body with Quilted Maple Top - A mahogany body with a maple cap delivers a powerful, full bodied tone with strong mids and sustain, while the quilted maple top adds extra brightness and visual flair. The See Thru Black Sunburst Satin finish lets the figuring shine through for a striking stage presence.
- Thin U 3 Piece Maple Neck with 24 XJ Frets - The slim Thin U profile and 3 piece maple construction give you a fast, stable neck that feels great for both rhythm and lead playing. Extra jumbo frets on the rosewood fingerboard make bends and vibrato feel effortless, with excellent control across all 24 frets.
- LTD LH 150 Humbuckers with Coil Split - Dual LTD LH 150 pickups provide high output rock and metal tones, with tight lows and cutting highs. The push pull tone control adds coil splitting, giving you access to brighter, more articulate sounds so you can cover a wider range of styles without changing guitars.
