Epiphone EB-3 SG Bass Guitar in Ebony

The Epiphone EB-3 SG Bass in Ebony brings classic rock heritage into an accessible, gig-ready instrument. With its iconic double-cut SG body, long 34 inch scale and dual humbuckers, it delivers everything from huge vintage thump to tighter, more defined modern tones, all wrapped up in a sleek, stage-ready black finish.

Built from mahogany with a set-in mahogany neck, the EB-3 offers a warm, sustaining voice that feels instantly familiar under the fingers. A powerful Sidewinder neck humbucker and NYT Bass Mini Humbucker at the bridge give you a wide tonal palette, while the SlimTaper D neck profile and pau ferro fingerboard keep playing comfortable whether you are laying down roots or exploring the upper register.

This is a bass that looks the part and sounds it too. The gloss Ebony finish, black pickguard and chrome hardware give a cool, understated aesthetic that will sit perfectly in rock, indie, blues and beyond. With a fully adjustable bridge and classic style premium tuners, the EB-3 is ready to be dialled in to your preferred setup and hold tune reliably from rehearsal to stage.

Whether you are chasing that classic EB-style low-end growl or need a versatile four-string that can cover a wide range of genres, the Epiphone EB-3 SG Bass offers a lot of character and performance for the money.

Classic SG Style and Comfortable Access

The SG-inspired double-cutaway body gives the EB-3 its instantly recognisable silhouette and a strong connection to rock history. The deep cutaways provide easy access to all 20 frets, so you can comfortably reach higher notes for fills, solos and melodic lines without feeling restricted.

Warm, Sustaining Mahogany Construction

A solid mahogany body paired with a set-in mahogany neck gives this bass a naturally warm, resonant tone with plenty of sustain. This classic tonewood combination helps your notes feel full and supportive in the mix, ideal for everything from vintage-flavoured rock to smoother soul and blues.

Versatile Dual Humbucker Electronics

The Sidewinder neck humbucker delivers the deep, powerful low-end associated with classic EB-style basses, while the NYT Bass Mini Humbucker at the bridge adds clarity and bite. With independent volume and tone controls for each pickup plus a three-way selector, you can blend and shape your sound from thick, dubby lows to more focused, articulate tones.

Player-Friendly Neck and Hardware

The SlimTaper D neck profile and 12 inch radius pau ferro fingerboard offer a comfortable, fast-playing feel that suits both pick and fingerstyle techniques. A fully adjustable bridge lets you fine-tune action and intonation, while classic style premium tuners and chrome hardware complete a reliable, gig-ready package.
