Electro Harmonix Adrian Belew Signature Echoflanger Pedal

Electro-Harmonix and Adrian Belew go way back. As one of music’s most fearless sonic explorers, Belew used the original Echoflanger to create some of his most iconic sounds, from the steel drum-inspired guitar tones of Genius of Love (Tom Tom Club) to the quirky animal noises heard throughout his work with King Crimson.

Now, the limited-edition Adrian Belew Signature Echoflanger brings all of that legendary character back, pairing the wonderfully weird modulation of the original with modern reliability and a couple of exclusive twists.

Classic sounds, wild possibilities

The EHX Echoflanger delivers everything from lush chorus shimmer and classic flanging sweeps to the gloriously unhinged sounds that made the original such a cult favourite. Whether you want subtle movement, rotary-style textures or completely warped pitch-bending effects, this pedal happily covers both ends of the spectrum.

Six modes of modulation magic

Alongside the original Filter Matrix, Flange, Chorus and Slap Back modes, Electro-Harmonix has added two extra settings for even more versatility. There’s a new Slap Back + Filter Matrix mode, plus Adrian’s own Flange + Chorus combination — inspired by a sweet spot he discovered by balancing the mode control between settings on his vintage unit.

Built for tone tweakers

With dedicated Feedback, Rate, Width, Tune, Mode and Volume controls, there’s a huge amount of shaping potential on tap. Dial in everything from gentle modulation to self-oscillating chaos, while the rear-panel Blend switch lets you remove the dry signal entirely for intense vibrato-style sounds. Add stereo outputs and true bypass switching, and you've got a mighty modulation machine that's just as happy colouring your tone as it is completely transforming it!
