Product Description
The EBS RSS-6 Regular Square Cable is a 6.8 m (22 ft) straight to straight instrument lead designed to stay neat, secure and reliable on stage or in the studio. With its unique square profile and EBS WaveGrip contacts, it resists tangles, protects your signal and helps keep your connection locked in, even when things get hectic underfoot.
Built as a heavy-duty solution for gigging musicians, this cable combines rugged insulation with an innovative plug design that grips the jack more effectively than a standard connector. The result is a practical, road-ready lead that helps you avoid accidental unplugging, messy cable runs and unnecessary wear on your gear.
Square Profile for Tangle-Free Use
The Regular Square Cable uses a distinctive square-shaped outer profile that naturally resists twisting and curling. This helps the cable lay flatter on the floor, reducing trip hazards and making stage setups cleaner and more predictable. It also makes packing down quicker, as the cable is less likely to knot or coil into an unmanageable mess.
WaveGrip Contacts for a More Secure Connection
EBS WaveGrip contacts feature precision-turned annular grooves along the 1/4 inch jack shaft that help the plug lock more firmly into your instrument or pedal. This design reduces the risk of the cable being pulled out if you step on it or move suddenly, helping to maintain a stable signal and minimising unwanted dropouts during a performance.
Heavy-Duty Insulation for Durability
The RSS-6 is built with robust insulation that shields the conductors and adds an extra layer of mechanical protection. This heavy-duty construction is designed to withstand the rigours of regular use, helping the cable cope with repeated set-ups, teardowns and transport while maintaining consistent performance.
Stage-Friendly Length and Straight Connectors
At 6.8 m (22 ft), this version of the Regular Square Cable offers ample reach for most stage and studio layouts, giving you freedom to move without straining the connection. The straight to straight configuration is ideal for plugging directly into instruments, pedalboards and amplifiers where a conventional jack profile is preferred.
Features
- WaveGrip 1/4 Inch Contacts - Precision-turned annular grooves along the jack shaft help the plug lock into the socket more securely, reducing the chance of accidental disconnection if the cable is tugged or stepped on.
- Square-Shaped Cable Design - The unique square profile helps prevent twisting and curling, so the cable stays tidier, lies flatter on the floor and is easier to manage during set-up and pack-down.
- Heavy-Duty Insulation - Rugged insulation provides enhanced mechanical protection for the internal conductors, supporting long-term reliability under regular gigging and rehearsal conditions.
- 6.8 m Straight to Straight Configuration - A practical 6.8 m (22 ft) length with straight to straight connectors offers flexible routing options on stage or in the studio while keeping connections simple and familiar.
