Product Description
The EBS CurlySquare 4.6 m (15 ft) Curly Square Cable with Straight-Straight Connectors is a bold, stage-ready instrument lead designed to stand out visually while keeping your signal securely connected. With its jumbo curls, unique square-shaped cable and innovative WaveGrip contacts, it is built to handle energetic performances without tangling or popping out of your jack.
Despite its eye-catching looks, this cable is all about practicality. The square profile helps prevent cable memory so it springs neatly back into shape, while the heavy-duty insulation offers extra protection for regular gigging and rehearsals. Combined with the WaveGrip contact design that locks into your instrument jack, the CurlySquare gives you the confidence to move freely without worrying about accidental disconnections.
CurlySquare Design
The CurlySquare cable takes the classic coiled lead concept and gives it a modern twist with jumbo-sized curls and a distinctive square-shaped outer profile. The result is a cable that looks striking on stage and naturally shortens or extends as you move, helping to keep excess slack off the floor and closer to your rig.
Square-Shaped Cable for Tangle Control
Traditional round cables can develop cable memory, twisting themselves into knots over time. The CurlySquare combats this with its square-shaped construction, which resists unwanted twisting and helps the cable stay tidy. That means less time untangling leads and more time playing.
WaveGrip Contacts for Secure Connection
EBS WaveGrip contacts feature annular precision-turned grooves along the 1/4 inch jack shaft that help the plug lock into the socket. This reduces the risk of the plug being pulled out if you step on the cable, helping to maintain a consistent connection between your instrument and amp throughout your set.
Built for Regular Use
With heavy-duty insulation and robust connectors, the CurlySquare cable is designed to cope with the demands of frequent use. Whether you are rehearsing, recording or performing live, it offers a dependable connection and a distinctive look that complements modern and vintage rigs alike.
Features
- WaveGrip 1/4 Inch Contacts - Specially designed plugs with annular grooves along the shaft help the jack lock into your instrument socket, reducing the chance of accidental disconnection if the cable is tugged or stepped on.
- Square-Shaped Coiled Cable - The unique square profile helps prevent cable memory and tangling, so the cable stays neater and easier to manage on stage, in the studio or at home.
- Heavy-Duty Insulation - Rugged outer insulation provides extra protection for the internal conductors, enhancing durability and reliability for regular gigging and practice.
- Straight-Straight Configuration - Two straight 1/4 inch connectors make this version ideal for plugging directly into instruments, pedalboards and amplifiers where a standard jack layout is preferred.
