Product Description
The DW 9000X Series Double Tom Stand is built to give you precise, repeatable tom positioning with the kind of rock-solid stability touring drummers rely on. With dual ball-and-socket mounts, an ultra-rigid tripod base and clever expansion options, it is designed to keep your toms exactly where you want them, night after night.
Re-engineered for a stronger, more consistent grip with less effort, the DWCP9992X lets you dial in your ideal setup quickly and confidently. From compact club stages to large festival risers, this stand offers the flexibility to adapt to any kit layout while keeping your drums and accessories locked in place.
Rock-Solid Support, Anywhere
The 9000X Double Tom Stand is all about stability. Its ultra-rigid tripod base is engineered to minimise flex and wobble, so your toms stay put even under heavy playing. Whether you are laying into big rock fills or playing intricate fusion patterns, you can trust this stand to feel solid under the sticks.
Precise, Effortless Positioning
Dual True-Grip ball-and-socket tom mounts give you a huge range of positioning options with smooth, precise adjustment. The improved clamping system delivers a firmer hold with less tightening force, so you can fine-tune angles and heights quickly without over-torquing wing nuts or worrying about slippage mid-gig.
Expand Your Setup
An integrated auxiliary V-clamp accepts tubes from 1/2" to 1", making it easy to add cymbal arms or other hardware without bringing extra stands. This keeps your setup cleaner and more compact, reduces clutter around your kit and speeds up both set-up and tear-down.
Ready For Upgrades
The DWCP9992X is compatible with optional InnerLock internal height memory, allowing you to save and instantly recall your preferred stand height. You can also add MOD Tripod Counterweights for even more stability, and an optional AirLift cylinder to assist with raising and lowering the stand during regular set-ups.
Features
- Dual True-Grip Ball-and-Socket Tom Mounts - Two independent ball-and-socket mounts provide exceptional freedom to position each tom exactly where you want it. The redesigned clamping system offers a stronger, more reliable hold with less effort, helping your toms stay locked in place throughout the show.
- Ultra-Rigid Tripod Base - The heavy-duty tripod base is engineered for maximum rigidity, reducing unwanted movement and flex. This gives you a more consistent playing feel and extra confidence when you are hitting hard or playing fast, complex patterns.
- Integrated Auxiliary V-Clamp - The built-in V-clamp accommodates 1/2" to 1" tubes, so you can mount cymbal arms and accessories directly to the stand. This lets you streamline your hardware, cut down on extra stands and create a more ergonomic, efficient kit layout.
- Optional Height Memory and Stability Upgrades - Compatible with DWs InnerLock internal height memory, MOD Tripod Counterweights and AirLift cylinder, the 9000X can be tailored to your workflow. From instant height recall to enhanced stability and easier lifting, these options help you set up faster and play more comfortably.
