DW Drums 9000X Series Boom Stand, Low With Inner Lock

The DW 9000X Series 9700XIL Low Boom Cymbal Stand is built for serious drummers who demand rock-solid stability in a compact, low-profile format. With heavy-gauge tubing, an ultra-rigid tripod base and DW’s latest InnerLock height memory system, it delivers tour-ready reliability while keeping your cymbals exactly where you want them, night after night.

Designed as a convertible boom/straight stand, the 9700XIL gives you the flexibility to tailor your setup for any stage or studio layout. A newly designed AutoLock boom tilter, Toothless Tilter with TechLock and a locking Quick Release Wingnut all work together to make positioning fast, precise and secure, so you can focus on playing rather than constantly tweaking hardware.

Whether you are building a compact kit for tight stages or fine-tuning a larger rig, this low boom stand is made to handle heavy cymbals and aggressive playing with ease. The InnerLock internal memory system means your height settings are stored inside the tubing itself, so you can tear down and set up quickly without losing your perfect positions.

With optional upgrades like MOD Tripod Counterweights for extra stability at full extension and an AirLift cylinder to assist with raising and lowering, the 9700XIL can evolve with your needs as your setup grows more demanding.

InnerLock Height Memory System

DW’s InnerLock internal memory system stores your height settings inside the stand tubing, so your preferred positions are recalled automatically every time you set up. This saves valuable changeover time, keeps your cymbals consistent from gig to gig and reduces wear on external memory locks or tape marks.

Ultra-Rigid Tripod and Heavy-Gauge Tubing

The combination of heavy-gauge steel tubing and an ultra-rigid tripod base provides exceptional stability, even under heavy cymbals and powerful playing. This solid foundation helps eliminate unwanted movement, rattles and creeping stands, giving you a more confident feel behind the kit.

AutoLock Boom Tilter and Toothless Tilter with TechLock

The newly designed AutoLock boom tilter allows quick, precise boom angle adjustments that automatically tighten under load, so your cymbal stays put once you start playing. Paired with DW’s Toothless Tilter and TechLock secondary locking system, you get infinite positioning with a secure, slip-resistant hold.

Quick Release Wingnut with Integrated Felt

The locking Quick Release Wingnut with integrated cymbal felt makes mounting and removing cymbals fast and hassle-free. You can swap cymbals in seconds without dismantling multiple parts, while the built-in felt helps protect your cymbal and maintain a consistent feel every time you play.

• InnerLock Internal Height Memory - The internal memory system keeps your height settings stored inside the stand, allowing for rapid, repeatable setups without guesswork or external markers.
• Low-Profile Convertible Boom/Straight Design - Use it as a compact boom for flexible positioning or convert it to a straight stand when space is tight, making it ideal for low cymbal placements and tight stage layouts.
• AutoLock Boom Tilter with TechLock Security - Enjoy smooth, infinite angle adjustment with a mechanism that self-tightens under playing pressure, backed up by TechLock to resist slippage during heavy performances.
• Ultra-Rigid Tripod and Heavy-Gauge Construction - Built with robust tubing and a solid tripod base to provide dependable stability, minimising wobble and movement so your cymbals stay exactly where you set them.
