Product Description
The DW 9000X Series Ball Snare Stand (DWCP9339X) is a premium, tour-ready stand designed to give drummers fast setup, rock-solid stability and incredibly precise positioning. With a unique quick-release basket that keeps your drum perfectly centred over the tripod, plus DW’s True-Grip ball-and-socket tilter, it is built for players who want pro-level performance and repeatable settings night after night.
Whether you are using a compact 10 inch side snare, a deep 16 inch floor tom or anything in between, the 9339X adapts effortlessly. The flat basket design with Reso Pocket Crutch Tips supports the drum securely while allowing it to resonate freely, and the optional InnerLock height memory system helps you lock in your ideal setup for every gig or session.
Engineered as part of DW’s flagship 9000 Series hardware, this stand is ready for demanding stages and intensive touring. The quick-release basket mechanism makes drum changes fast and fuss-free, while the True-Grip ball joint lets you dial in the exact playing angle in seconds. Add optional MOD Tripod Counterweights for extra stability or an optional AirLift cylinder for assisted height adjustment to create a truly customised snare or tom platform.
Quick-Release Removable Basket
The 9339X is the first DW snare stand to feature a quick-release removable basket that keeps the drum centred directly over the tripod. This makes swapping snares or toms fast and simple, without disturbing your stand position. You can lift the basket off to pack down or change drums, then drop it back on with your angle and footprint exactly where you left them.
Flat Basket with Reso Pocket Crutch Tips
DW’s patented flat basket design, fitted with Reso Pocket Crutch Tips, provides a secure yet resonance-friendly grip on your drum. The flat profile keeps the drum stable and low-profile, while the specially designed tips cradle the hoop without choking the shell. The result is a more open, natural tone and a stand that feels solid under your sticks.
True-Grip Ball-and-Socket Angle Adjustment
The True-Grip ball-and-socket tilter gives you ultra-precise control over your snare or tom angle. Instead of being limited to fixed notches, you can fine-tune the drum position to match your playing style perfectly. Once tightened, the ball joint holds firm, so your drum stays exactly where you set it throughout rehearsals, gigs and sessions.
Gig-Ready Customisation
With compatibility for optional InnerLock height memory, MOD Tripod Counterweights and an optional AirLift cylinder, the 9339X can be tailored to suit your exact needs. Save your preferred height for instant recall, add counterweights for extra stability, or let AirLift assist with smooth, controlled height changes. It is a flexible, future-proof stand that can evolve with your setup.
