Product Description
The DW 9000X Series Airlift Cylinder Long is a drop-in, air-assisted upgrade for compatible DW 9000X cymbal and tom stands, giving you smooth, controlled height adjustment with minimal effort. Installed in seconds using a standard drum key, it transforms your existing hardware into a responsive, hydraulic-supported system that makes setting up and fine-tuning your kit quicker and far more comfortable.
Designed specifically for select long 9000X stands, this Airlift cylinder uses an internal air-assist mechanism to support the weight of your cymbals or toms as you raise and lower them. That means no more wrestling with heavy hardware or over-tight collars; instead, you get precise, fingertip control over your playing height in any situation, from quick changeovers to long studio sessions.
Whether you are a touring professional, a busy session player or a weekend warrior, the 9000X Series Airlift Cylinder Long helps you get your kit exactly where you want it, fast. With less strain on your hands and back, you can focus on playing your best rather than fighting your stands.
Effortless Height Adjustment
The air-assisted, hydraulic-style cylinder supports the weight of your mounted cymbals or toms, making height changes feel light and controlled. This is ideal for frequent adjustments between songs, players or venues, helping you dial in the perfect playing position without physical strain.
Quick Drop-In Installation
The Airlift Cylinder Long is designed as a simple drop-in upgrade that can be installed or removed in seconds using a standard drum key. There is no need for specialist tools or permanent modifications, so you can upgrade compatible stands quickly and easily, even mid-tour or mid-session.
Optimised For Long 9000X Stands
This long version of the Airlift cylinder is tailored to work with specific extended-height DW 9000X cymbal and tom stand models. By matching the geometry and travel of these stands, it delivers smooth, predictable movement across the full usable height range, ideal for taller players or higher mounting positions.
Reliable Performance In Any Playing Situation
Built for real-world gigging and studio use, the Airlift cylinder delivers consistent, repeatable performance in all playing situations. From subtle tweaks to major height changes, you can rely on it to move smoothly and hold position securely, helping keep your hardware feeling solid and professional night after night.
