Product Description
The DW 9000X Series 2-leg Hi-hat Stand is built for drummers who demand maximum feel, speed and reliability from their hats. Combining DWs Triple Eccentric Cam, innovative Negative Spring System and an extended footboard, it delivers ultra-responsive action for everything from delicate heel splashes to powerful, cutting chicks, all on a rock-solid, tour-ready base.
Engineered for pro performance, the DWCP9500TX takes the classic 9000 platform and refines it with a more comfortable longboard feel, an upgraded 9000X vise clutch with TechLock, and a Quick Change hi-hat rod that installs in seconds. Heavy-duty construction, an ultra-rigid base with swivel legs and a fast-fold baseplate with Non-Slip Grip all work together to keep your stand exactly where you put it, night after night.
Extended Footboard Feel
The 9500XFTX extended footboard gives you more real estate under your foot, making intricate heel-toe patterns, splashes and dynamic control feel natural and effortless. If you are used to longboard kick pedals, this hi-hat stand will feel instantly familiar, helping your whole pedal setup feel unified and comfortable.
Triple Eccentric Cam & Negative Spring System
At the heart of the 9000X hi-hat is DWs patented Triple Eccentric Cam working in tandem with a first-of-its-kind Negative Spring System. This combination delivers lightning-fast cymbal rebound and a super smooth, even response throughout the entire travel of the pedal, so fast chicks, tight funk grooves and expressive openings all feel precise and controlled.
Improved 9000X Vise Clutch with TechLock
The upgraded 9000X vise clutch with TechLock provides a rock-solid grip on your top cymbal and keeps your tension settings locked in. That means consistent feel and sound from set to set, with far less chance of the clutch loosening mid-gig, even under heavy playing.
Ultra-Rigid, Road-Ready Base
Designed to handle the rigours of professional use, the 9500XFTX features an ultra-rigid base with swivel legs, a Delta Ball Bearing hinge and a fast-fold baseplate with Non-Slip Grip. The result is a stand that feels planted and stable on any stage, sets up and packs down quickly, and stays put under your most energetic playing.
Features
- Extended Footboard - The longer footboard offers a more spacious playing surface, ideal for heel-toe techniques, splashes and nuanced control. It is especially comfortable if you already use a longboard bass drum pedal, giving your feet a consistent feel across your kit.
- Triple Eccentric Cam & Negative Spring System - This advanced drive and spring design delivers ultra-fast response and smooth, even tension through the entire stroke. You get crisp, articulate chicks and effortless rebound for fast patterns without having to fight the pedal.
- 9000X Vise Clutch with TechLock - The improved clutch design clamps firmly onto the top cymbal and uses TechLock to keep your settings secure. That means less time re-tightening hardware and more time playing, with consistent hi-hat feel throughout rehearsals and gigs.
- Ultra-Rigid Base with Swivel Legs - Heavy-duty construction, an ultra-rigid base, swivel legs and a fast-fold baseplate with Non-Slip Grip provide maximum stability and flexible positioning. You can easily work around double pedals and complex setups while keeping the stand solid underfoot.
