Product Description
The Chroma Drive is a purpose-built USB drive designed around the way DJs actually manage, transfer and carry their music libraries. Building on the original design that has already synced tens of thousands of DJ libraries worldwide, it combines fast USB 3.2 memory with both USB-C and USB-A connectivity for straightforward transfers between players, computers and mobile devices.
Both connectors are protected by rotating metal covers that stay securely closed when not in use, eliminating the need for removable caps that can easily get lost in a gig bag. The full metal body adds durability while giving the drive a substantial feel in your hand, making it well suited to the demands of regular DJ use.
Use the USB-A connector with Pioneer DJ players and other compatible media players, or connect via USB-C to your laptop, phone or compatible DJ hardware. The fast memory is selected specifically for DJ library transfers, helping you sync thousands of tracks quickly and efficiently. Each Chroma Drive also includes a protective case and lanyard, with five colours available and optional custom engraving for a more personal finish.
Features
- Dual USB Connectivity - USB-C and USB-A connectors let you transfer music between DJ players, computers, phones and other compatible devices without needing an adapter.
- Rotating Metal Covers - Both connectors are protected by rotating covers that stay securely shut, so there are no removable caps to lose between gigs.
- DJ Ready Construction - Fast USB 3.2 memory and a full metal body are designed for quick library transfers and the demands of regular DJ use.
Built For DJs:
The Chroma Drive is designed specifically around the demands of modern DJ library management. DJs often need to move thousands of individual music files when preparing USB drives through software such as Rekordbox or Engine DJ, so fast and dependable storage is essential. The USB 3.2 memory used in the Chroma Drive is selected with these types of transfers in mind, helping you spend less time waiting for your library to sync.
The dual connector design also makes the drive easy to use across your setup. USB-A connects directly to compatible Pioneer DJ players and other media players, while USB-C provides a straightforward connection to modern laptops, phones and compatible DJ hardware.
Designed For The Road:
A DJ USB drive needs to survive more than just time on a desk. The Chroma Drive has a full metal body designed to handle the everyday knocks and movement that come with being carried between home, studio, club and festival. It also feels solid and substantial in the hand without compromising its practical size.
Both connectors are housed beneath rotating metal covers, providing protection when the drive is being carried around. Unlike conventional USB drives with removable caps, there is nothing separate to lose in your pocket or gig bag. A protective case and lanyard are included too, giving you additional options for keeping the drive secure and accessible while travelling.
Five Colours And Custom Options:
The Chroma Drive combines practical DJ functionality with a choice of finishes. Five colours are available, allowing you to choose a drive that suits your setup or makes it easier to identify your own USB quickly when working with other DJs. Optional custom engraving provides another way to personalise the drive.
The design builds on the original Chroma Drive, which has already been used to sync tens of thousands of DJ libraries around the world. The latest version retains its proven USB 3.2 memory and dual USB-C and USB-A connectivity while introducing a tougher full metal construction and integrated rotating connector covers.
