Product Description
The Dean Zero Select Fluence in Black Satin is a stripped-back metal machine built for players who want crushing tone and rock-solid performance in a no-nonsense package. With its radical Zero body shape, single Fishman Fluence Modern humbucker and premium hardware, this guitar is all about precision, power and reliability on stage and in the studio.
An eastern mahogany body and set-through 3-piece maple neck deliver the punch, sustain and stability you need for tight rhythm work and searing leads. The ebony fretboard with 24 jumbo stainless steel frets feels fast and slick under the fingers, while glow in the dark side markers keep you locked in even on the darkest stages. Finished in a stealthy Black Satin, the Zero Select Fluence looks as brutal as it sounds.
At the heart of the guitar is a single Fishman Fluence Modern pickup controlled by a simple volume knob and 3-way toggle, giving you immediate access to versatile, high-output tones without any clutter. A Tone Pros Tune-O-Matic bridge with string-through V-plate and Grover tuners complete a spec that is built to withstand aggressive playing night after night.
High-Output Fluence Power
The Fishman Fluence Modern humbucker delivers tight, percussive lows, cutting mids and clear highs that stay articulate even under extreme gain. With its active voicing and ultra-low noise performance, it excels at modern metal rhythm work, djent-style chugs and fluid lead tones, while the 3-way toggle gives you flexible tonal options from a single pickup layout.
Fast, Durable Neck and Fretboard
A slim C 3-piece maple neck and 12 inch radius ebony fretboard create a fast, comfortable playing surface that suits everything from rapid-fire riffs to wide bends and legato runs. The 24 jumbo stainless steel frets offer a super-smooth feel, excellent intonation and outstanding durability, resisting wear even under heavy touring and practice schedules.
Aggressive Zero Body with Premium Tonewoods
The bold Zero body shape in eastern mahogany is designed to stand out visually while delivering a full, resonant voice with plenty of low-end authority. The flat top with bevels keeps the guitar comfortable against the body and provides easy access to the upper frets, making it ideal for technical players who live above the 12th fret.
Stage-Ready Hardware and Visibility
A Tone Pros Tune-O-Matic bridge with V-plate string-through design offers excellent tuning stability, sustain and precise intonation, while the Mini Grover 18:1 tuners keep your tuning locked in. Glow in the dark side markers ensure you can see your position on the neck under low lighting, giving you confidence on dark stages and in rehearsal rooms.
