Product Description
The Dean Razorback X Series Floyd Rose in Blue Lightning is a no-nonsense metal machine built to look as fierce as it sounds. With its iconic Razorback body, striking lightning graphic and a high-performance Floyd Rose Special tremolo, it is made for players who want to stand out on stage and unleash aggressive riffs, searing leads and wild dive bombs with total confidence.
Under the bold exterior, the Razorback X Floyd combines an okoume body, bolt-on maple neck and dual DMT Design humbuckers to deliver a powerful, focused voice that cuts through any mix. A comfortable C-shaped neck, 12 inch rosewood fingerboard and 22 jumbo frets make it easy to play fast, expressive lines, while rock-solid Grover tuners and locking trem hardware help keep everything tight and in tune.
Extreme Razorback Design
The classic Dean Razorback outline is one of the most recognisable shapes in metal, with sharp angles and extended points that look right at home under stage lights. The Blue Lightning finish takes that attitude even further, with a vivid graphic that runs across the body and makes this guitar an instant visual centrepiece in any band.
Fast Neck and Jumbo Frets
A bolt-on maple neck with a comfortable C-shaped profile offers a familiar, fast-playing feel whether you are laying down chunky rhythm parts or ripping through solos. The rosewood fingerboard with a 12 inch radius and 22 jumbo frets gives you plenty of room for big bends, vibrato and precise control, while pearl Razorback inlays keep you locked in on dark stages.
High-Output DMT Design Humbuckers
Loaded with a pair of DMT Design humbuckers, the Razorback X Floyd is voiced for modern rock and metal. These passive pickups deliver tight lows, punchy mids and cutting highs, ideal for saturated high-gain tones as well as cleaner, more articulate sounds when you roll back the volume. Independent volume controls for each pickup and a master tone let you fine-tune your sound on the fly.
Floyd Rose Special Tremolo Performance
The Floyd Rose Special locking tremolo is built for expressive playing, from subtle vibrato to extreme dive bombs and flutters. Locking at the bridge and nut, it helps maintain tuning stability even under heavy use, so you can push your techniques as hard as you like without constantly reaching for a tuner.
Features
- Iconic Razorback Body with Blue Lightning Finish - The aggressive Razorback shape and electrifying Blue Lightning graphic create an unmistakable stage presence. This guitar is designed to turn heads before you even play a note, making it ideal for players who want their instrument to match the intensity of their music.
- Dual DMT Design Humbuckers - A pair of DMT Design humbuckers deliver the high-output punch needed for heavy riffs and soaring leads. Their tight low end and clear top end help every note cut through dense mixes, while remaining responsive to your picking dynamics and volume adjustments.
- Floyd Rose Special Locking Tremolo - The Floyd Rose Special bridge allows you to perform dramatic pitch shifts and expressive tremolo effects with confidence. Its locking design helps keep your tuning stable even during aggressive use, so you can focus on playing rather than constant retuning.
- Fast C-Shape Neck with Jumbo Frets - The bolt-on maple neck with a comfortable C profile, 12 inch radius rosewood fingerboard and 22 jumbo frets offers a fast, modern playing feel. This combination makes intricate solos, wide bends and rapid riffing feel natural and controlled.
