Product Description
The Dean Razorback X Classic Black puts Dime-inspired attitude and performance within reach of almost any player. With its aggressive Razorback body shape, slick bolt-on maple neck and high-output DMT Design humbuckers, this is a no-nonsense metal machine that looks lethal, feels fast and delivers the kind of crushing tones you need for modern rock and metal.
Built around an Okoume body for rich, open resonance and a comfortable weight, the Razorback X is engineered to handle everything from tight, palm-muted riffs to soaring leads. A Tune-O-Matic bridge with string-through V plate, Grover 18:1 tuners and D’Addario EXL120 strings work together for rock-solid tuning stability, while the 22 jumbo frets and 12 inch radius rosewood fingerboard make bends, vibrato and fast runs feel effortless.
Classic Razorback Attitude
The Razorback X Classic Black captures the iconic silhouette that made the Razorback a modern metal legend. The flat top with bevels not only looks razor sharp on stage, it also helps keep the guitar comfortable against your body, giving you the confidence to move freely while you play.
Resonant Okoume Body
Using Okoume for both the body and top gives the Razorback X a lively, open acoustic character that translates into a punchy, responsive amplified tone. Chords ring with clarity, while single notes cut through the mix, making it a great choice for rhythm and lead work alike.
Fast Maple Neck And Rosewood Fingerboard
The bolt-on maple neck offers a snappy, immediate response that is ideal for tight riffing and articulate lead lines. Paired with a smooth rosewood fingerboard, 12 inch radius and 22 jumbo frets, it feels fast under the fingers and makes big bends and precise vibrato easier to control.
High-Output DMT Design Pickups
A pair of DMT Design humbuckers provides the firepower, delivering thick, saturated distortion and tight low end that stays defined under high gain. With individual volume controls for each pickup and a shared tone control, you can quickly dial in everything from brutal rhythm sounds to cutting lead tones.
Stable Hardware For Aggressive Playing
The Tune-O-Matic bridge with V plate string-through design helps maximise sustain and tuning stability, even under heavy picking. Grover 18:1 tuners offer precise, reliable tuning adjustments, while the black hardware and speed knobs complete the Razorback X’s stealthy, stage-ready look.
