Product Description
The Dean Morningstar Classic Floyd in Silverburst takes the iconic ML silhouette and arms it for modern rock and metal. With its striking gradient finish, dual DMT Time Capsule humbuckers and a fully locking Floyd Rose Special tremolo system, it is built to handle everything from searing leads to brutal rhythm work while staying in tune and looking the part under stage lights.
Eastern mahogany throughout the body and neck delivers a powerful, sustaining core tone, while the comfortable C-shaped set neck and 24 jumbo frets make fast, expressive playing feel effortless. Finished off with a sleek Indian rosewood fingerboard, black hardware and dependable Mini Grover tuners, the Morningstar Classic Floyd Silverburst offers serious performance and standout style at a price that is accessible to working players.
Classic ML Attitude with Modern Playability
The Morningstar Classic sits firmly in Dean’s heritage, with the instantly recognisable ML body shape crafted from eastern mahogany for punch, warmth and natural sustain. The flat top keeps things comfortable and familiar, while the Silverburst finish gives a fresh, contemporary twist that looks incredible on stage and in the studio.
Fast C-Shape Neck and 24 Jumbo Frets
A set eastern mahogany neck with a comfortable C profile and 25.5 inch scale length provides a familiar feel for rock and metal players. The 12 inch radius Indian rosewood fingerboard and 24 jumbo frets make bending, vibrato and fast runs feel smooth and controlled, with pearloid dot inlays keeping your position clear under low light.
DMT Time Capsule Pickups
Loaded with a pair of DMT Series Time Capsule humbuckers, this guitar delivers a versatile, muscular voice that covers everything from tight, articulate rhythm tones to singing lead sounds. The simple single volume control and three way toggle switch layout keeps things intuitive, letting you focus on your playing rather than wrestling with complex controls.
Floyd Rose Special Tremolo and Locking Nut
The Floyd Rose Special bridge paired with a Floyd Rose R3 locking nut lets you divebomb, flutter and add wide vibrato without sacrificing tuning stability. Combined with Mini Grover 18:1 tuners and solid black hardware, the Morningstar Classic Floyd is ready for aggressive tremolo use and demanding live sets.
Features
- All Eastern Mahogany Construction - Eastern mahogany for both body and top delivers a rich, full-bodied tone with strong mids and sustain, giving riffs and chords real authority in a mix.
- DMT Series Time Capsule Humbuckers - The dual Time Capsule pickups provide a powerful yet articulate voice, ideal for classic and modern rock tones, with enough clarity to cut through high-gain settings.
- Floyd Rose Special Tremolo with R3 Nut - The locking Floyd system allows extreme pitch effects and expressive vibrato while helping to keep your tuning stable through heavy playing and string bends.
- 24 Jumbo Frets on a 12 Inch Radius Board - Jumbo frets and a moderately flat 12 inch radius make fast runs, big bends and precise intonation easier, supporting technical playing styles without sacrificing comfort.
