Product Description
The Dean MLX Quilt Maple Trans Brazilia takes the iconic ML silhouette and makes it accessible to everyone, without sacrificing attitude or playability. With a striking quilt maple top over an Eastern mahogany body, a fast bolt on maple neck and high output DMT Designed humbuckers, this is a serious rock and metal machine that looks as bold as it sounds.
High Output DMT Designed Pickups
The DMT Designed zebra humbuckers are voiced to deliver the power and aggression required for heavier styles, with enough clarity to keep complex chords and fast runs articulate. With separate neck and bridge volume controls plus a master tone, you can easily balance rhythm and lead levels or roll back for cleaner, more dynamic tones.
Striking Quilt Maple Trans Brazilia Finish
The quilt maple top with Trans Brazilia finish gives the MLX a head turning, high end look that belies its price. The figuring of the maple shows through the transparent finish, adding depth and movement that looks incredible on stage and in the studio, while white binding ties the whole aesthetic together.
Comfortable Bolt On Maple Neck
A 24 3/4 inch scale length, 22 jumbo frets and a 12 inch radius Indian rosewood fingerboard make this guitar fast and comfortable to play. The bolt on maple neck construction offers a snappy response and easy access to the upper frets, ideal for lead work and extended soloing.
Rock Solid Hardware
The Tune O Matic bridge with V plate tailpiece and sealed die cast tuners provide stable tuning and reliable intonation. Combined with 500k audio taper pots, the hardware is built to handle regular rehearsals and gigs while giving you smooth, predictable control over your sound.
