Product Description
The Dean MLX Floyd Classic White brings the iconic ML silhouette, high output tone and a full locking tremolo into a seriously affordable package. With its sleek gloss Classic White finish, black hardware and triple binding, it looks every bit the stage-ready metal machine, while the powerful DMT Design pickups and Floyd Rose FR20 tremolo give you the tools to handle everything from tight rhythm work to screaming divebombs.
Built with a resonant Eastern Mahogany body and a fast bolt-on maple neck, the MLX Floyd is designed to feel immediately familiar in your hands. A comfortable C-shaped profile, 22 jumbo frets and a 12 inch radius Indian Rosewood fingerboard make bends, vibrato and fast runs effortless, whether you are just starting out or already gigging regularly. Simple controls keep you focused on playing, while the locking nut and sealed die-cast tuners work with the Floyd system to keep your tuning stable through aggressive whammy bar use.
Visually, the MLX Floyd Classic White is pure rock attitude. The flat-topped ML body shape, white binding around the body, neck and headstock, and black speed knobs create a bold contrast that stands out under stage lights. Under the hood, the dual DMT Design humbuckers deliver the punch, clarity and output needed for modern rock and metal, but clean up nicely when you roll back the volume. Whether you are learning your first riffs, recording at home or stepping onto the stage, this guitar offers a huge amount of performance for the money.
DMT Design High Output Pickups
The MLX Floyd is loaded with a pair of DMT Design humbuckers that provide a tight low end, cutting mids and enough output to push your amp into saturated overdrive. They are voiced to handle high gain without getting muddy, making palm-muted riffs, pinch harmonics and searing leads jump out of the speakers while still retaining note definition.
Floyd Rose FR20 Tremolo System
With a Floyd Rose FR20 bridge and a locking R3 nut, you can dive, flutter and pull up on the bar with confidence. The double-locking design helps keep your tuning stable even under extreme tremolo use, so you can focus on performance rather than constantly re-tuning between songs.
Comfortable Bolt-On Maple Neck
The bolt-on maple neck with a C-shaped profile and 24 3/4 inch scale length offers a familiar, comfortable feel that suits a wide range of playing styles. Combined with the 12 inch radius Indian Rosewood fingerboard and 22 jumbo frets, it makes fast runs, wide bends and big chords feel smooth and controlled across the entire neck.
Striking Classic White Aesthetic
The Eastern Mahogany ML body finished in gloss Classic White, matched with black hardware and speed knobs, delivers a bold, classic rock look. White binding on the body, neck and headstock adds a touch of refinement, so the guitar looks as sharp as it sounds whether you are on stage or in the studio.
