Dean Left Handed ML 79 Electric Guitar in Classic Black

The Dean ML 79 Classic Black Lefty brings the iconic ML silhouette to left-handed players in a no-nonsense, high-performance package. With its Eastern mahogany construction, set mahogany neck and Indian rosewood fingerboard, this guitar is built for huge tone and effortless playability, whether you are riffing hard, dialling in classic rock crunch or soaring through melodic leads.

Loaded with a pair of DMT Series Time Capsule humbuckers, a Tune-O-Matic bridge with V plate and rock-solid Grover locking tuners, the ML 79 Classic Black Lefty is ready for the stage straight out of the box. Its flat-top design and sleek Classic Black finish give it a timeless look, while the comfortable V-shaped neck and jumbo frets make it feel instantly familiar under the fingers.

Classic ML Style for Left-Handed Players

The legendary ML body shape has been a Dean hallmark for decades, and this left-handed version keeps that heritage alive. The aggressive outline and Classic Black finish look right at home under stage lights, giving you a commanding presence that matches the guitar's powerful sound.

Eastern Mahogany Body and Neck

Both the body and top are crafted from Eastern mahogany, with a matching mahogany set neck for excellent sustain and warmth. This tried-and-tested tonewood recipe delivers a thick, punchy midrange that works brilliantly for rock and metal, while still offering enough clarity for cleaner styles.

Comfortable V Neck and Jumbo Frets

The V-shaped neck profile and 12 inch fingerboard radius strike a balance between vintage feel and modern playability. Jumbo frets make bending and vibrato easier, while the Indian rosewood fingerboard adds a smooth, responsive playing surface that feels great for rhythm and lead work alike.

DMT Time Capsule Pickups and Rock-Solid Hardware

A pair of DMT Series Time Capsule humbuckers provide a versatile tonal palette, from tight, articulate rhythm tones to singing lead sounds. The Tune-O-Matic bridge with V plate, Grover locking tuners and 500k audio taper pots ensure stable tuning, precise intonation and a responsive control feel.
