Cornerstone Limited Edition Gladio Mk3 Professional Dual Preamp Pedal in Gold & Silver

The Cornerstone Gladio Mk3 Limited Edition is a professional dual preamp and overdrive pedal that captures the feel and response of coveted D-style amplifiers, wrapped in a striking Gold and Silver finish. With two fully independent channels, extensive routing options and an internal 30V operating voltage for huge headroom, it is designed as the centrepiece of a serious guitarist’s drive section, whether you are chasing touch-sensitive edge-of-breakup tones or rich, singing overdrive.

Handmade in Italy and supplied with premium presentation, this limited version of Cornerstone’s flagship Gladio Mk3 is aimed at players who demand studio-grade dynamics and flexibility on a compact pedalboard. Use it as a dual-channel amp-in-a-box into a clean amplifier, a highly controllable gain stack in front of your favourite valve amp, or as two separate boutique drives placed anywhere in your signal chain.

Both channels share the same D-style DNA but are voiced to complement each other. Channel 1 offers a transparent, amp-like response that tracks your pick attack and guitar volume, while Channel 2 pushes into a more mid-forward, harmonically rich drive that excels at leads and saturated rhythm work. Independent compression switches, a global Bass control and a clever Ratio blend on Channel 2 let you fine-tune the feel and clarity to your exact rig and playing style.

With four-jack routing and remote switching capability, the Gladio Mk3 Limited Edition integrates easily into advanced pedalboard setups. Whether you are a session player, live performer or home-recording enthusiast, it delivers the nuance, punch and flexibility of a boutique amplifier front end in a beautifully finished, road-ready enclosure.

Dual D-Style Channels with Independent Control

The Gladio Mk3 Limited Edition houses two fully independent D-style overdrive channels, each with its own Gain, Volume and Tone controls. Channel 1 focuses on transparency and dynamic response, making it ideal as an always-on foundation tone that cleans up from your guitar’s volume knob. Channel 2 adds a more assertive, midrange-forward voice with harder clipping, perfect for solos and saturated rhythm parts. Having both flavours under one foot allows you to move from subtle breakup to full-bodied drive without changing the core feel of your rig.

Parallel Clean Blend and Global Bass Shaping

Channel 2 features a Ratio control that blends your clean input signal in parallel with the driven sound. This lets you restore pick attack, note definition and dynamic range even at higher gain settings, so complex chords and fast runs stay articulate. A global Bass control on the front panel shapes the low end of both channels at once, making it quick and easy to adapt the pedal to different guitars, amplifiers and stages without having to re-dial your entire sound.

High-Headroom 30V Internal Operation

Although it runs from a standard 9V DC centre-negative supply, the Gladio Mk3 Limited Edition uses an internal charge pump to operate the analogue circuit at 30V. This expanded voltage provides significantly increased headroom, cleaner transients and a wider dynamic range, so the pedal responds more like a high-quality valve preamp. The result is a touch-sensitive feel that rewards subtle changes in picking strength and guitar volume, from sparkling cleans to singing sustain.

Advanced Routing and Remote Switching

With four audio jacks, the Gladio Mk3 Limited Edition can function as a traditional dual-channel drive or as two completely separate pedals placed at different points in your signal chain. This opens up creative options such as running Channel 1 before modulation and Channel 2 after, or stacking each side with different drives and boosts. A dedicated mini-jack accepts a latching stereo footswitch for remote channel switching, making it easy to integrate into complex pedalboard or MIDI-controlled setups.

• Limited Edition Gold and Silver Finish - The Gladio Mk3 Limited Edition stands out with its distinctive Gold and Silver colour scheme, making it as visually striking as it is sonically refined. It is a premium take on Cornerstone’s flagship design, ideal for players who want a standout centrepiece on their board.
• Two Independent D-Style Overdrive Channels - Channel 1 delivers transparent, amp-like drive that responds directly to your touch, while Channel 2 offers a more mid-forward, saturated voice. Each channel has its own Gain, Volume, Tone and compression toggle, giving you two fully dialled-in sounds that can be used alone or stacked.
• Ratio Clean Blend and Global Bass Control - The Ratio control on Channel 2 lets you blend in your clean signal in parallel, preserving clarity and attack at any gain level. The global Bass knob shapes the low end of both channels simultaneously, allowing quick tonal adjustments to suit different guitars, amplifiers and venues.
• 30V Internal Headroom with Flexible Routing - An internal charge pump boosts the operating voltage to 30V for enhanced headroom and dynamic range, giving a more authentic preamp-style feel. Four-jack routing and remote switching capability mean the Gladio Mk3 can function as a dual-channel drive or as two separate pedals, integrating easily into advanced pedalboard setups.
