Cornerstone Gladio Mk3 Professional Dual Preamp Pedal

The Cornerstone Gladio Mk3 is a professional dual overdrive and preamp-style pedal designed to deliver the feel, dynamics and harmonic richness of sought-after D-style amplifiers. With two fully independent channels, studio-grade routing options and an internal 30V power rail for huge headroom, it is built for players who want their drive sounds to respond exactly like a great valve amp under the fingers.

Handmade in Italy and housed in a premium polished chrome enclosure, the Gladio Mk3 refines Cornerstone’s acclaimed design with a new Ratio clean blend, an external Bass control and independent compression toggles on each channel. Whether you are chasing touch-sensitive edge-of-breakup, singing lead sustain or a flexible always-on preamp, this pedal is engineered to become the tonal heart of your rig.

Dual D-style Voices

The Gladio Mk3 gives you two distinct D-style overdrive circuits under one roof. Channel 1 is tuned for transparency and dynamic response, behaving like a responsive clean-to-crunch amp that follows your pick attack and guitar volume. Channel 2 offers a more assertive, midrange-forward voice with harder clipping for richer saturation and vocal lead tones, ideal for solos and more driven rhythm parts.

Parallel Clean Blend and Global Bass

A new Ratio control on Channel 2 lets you blend your clean input signal in parallel with the overdrive, restoring attack, clarity and dynamic range even at higher gain settings. This makes it easy to keep your notes defined in a busy mix without sacrificing warmth or sustain. The global Bass control replaces the internal trimpot of earlier versions, putting low-end shaping right on the front panel so you can quickly tailor the response to different guitars, amps and stages.

High Headroom Analogue Preamp

Although it runs from a standard 9V DC supply, the Gladio Mk3 uses an internal charge pump to operate at 30V. This expanded voltage provides significantly more headroom, cleaner transients and a wider dynamic range, so your playing nuances come through with clarity. The result is an amp-like feel that stays composed under heavy picking and stacks beautifully with other pedals in your chain.

Flexible Routing and Control

With four jack sockets and independent channel operation, the Gladio Mk3 can function as a traditional dual-channel drive or as two completely separate pedals placed at different points in your signal chain. Independent compression toggles on each channel let you choose between a tighter, more controlled feel or a more open, touch-sensitive response. An order switch and remote mini-jack for a latching stereo footswitch add further control, making the pedal equally at home on compact boards and complex professional rigs.

• Two Independent D-style Channels - Channel 1 delivers a transparent, amp-like response that moves from clean to driven simply through your touch and guitar volume, while Channel 2 provides a more mid-forward, harmonically rich overdrive for saturated rhythm and lead tones.
• Ratio Clean Blend on Channel 2 - The dedicated Ratio control blends your clean input signal in parallel with the overdrive, helping you retain pick attack, note definition and dynamic range even at higher gain settings.
• 30V Internal Headroom - An internal charge pump runs the analogue circuit at 30V from a standard 9V supply, giving you increased headroom, cleaner transients and a more realistic amp-like feel under the fingers.
• Advanced Routing and Remote Control - Four-jack routing allows the Gladio Mk3 to be used as a single dual-channel pedal or as two separate drives in your signal chain, while the remote mini-jack accepts a latching stereo footswitch for hands-free channel switching on stage
