Cordoba Fusion Stage Nylon Electro Acoustic in Black Burst

The Córdoba Fusion Stage Nylon Electro Acoustic in Black Burst brings modern playability and stage-ready performance to the world of nylon strings. With a sleek chambered solid body, a comfortable Fusion neck and a powerful Stage Pickup System co-developed with Fishman, it is purpose-built for live players who want authentic nylon tone with the feel and practicality of an electric.

A solid spruce top with Córdoba’s Exotic Top flamed maple veneer delivers a clear, focused and responsive sound, while the ultra-slim 38 mm body keeps weight down and feedback at bay. Add in refined details such as an ebony fingerboard, pau ferro binding and a striking Black Burst gloss finish, and you have a nylon electro acoustic that looks as good as it plays.

Stage-ready Chambered Body

The Fusion Stage features a chambered solid mahogany body that has been carefully routed to reduce weight and enhance resonance. At just 38 mm deep, it feels compact and comfortable whether you are standing or sitting, and the soft cutaway gives easy access to the upper frets. The chambering also helps control feedback at higher stage volumes, making this an excellent choice for gigging nylon players.

Fusion Neck for Electric-style Feel

Córdoba’s Fusion neck profile bridges the gap between classical and steel string guitars. With a C shape, 48 mm nut width and slim 20 mm depth at the first fret, it will feel instantly familiar to electric and steel string players while still offering enough space for precise fingerstyle work. The set mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard and tidy fretwork make for a smooth, fast playing experience across the entire 650 mm scale.

Solid Spruce Top with Exotic Black Burst Finish

A solid spruce top provides the backbone of the guitar’s tone, offering clarity, projection and excellent dynamic response. This is paired with Córdoba’s Exotic Top concept, using an ultra-thin flamed maple veneer finished in a dramatic Black Burst. The result is a visually striking instrument that retains the resonance and warmth of spruce and chambered mahogany, with rich lows and a focused, articulate midrange enhanced by custom three piece fan bracing.

Fishman Co-developed Stage Pickup System

Developed in partnership with Fishman, the Stage Pickup System combines an undersaddle piezo transducer with internal body sensors to capture both string detail and the natural air of the instrument. This hybrid approach delivers a warm, clear and balanced nylon-string sound while avoiding the harsh piezo quack often associated with undersaddle systems. Onboard controls for Master Volume, EQ and Body Blend, with elegant ebony knobs, allow you to tailor your tone quickly to different rooms and rigs.

• Chambered Solid Mahogany Body - The slim 38 mm chambered mahogany body keeps the guitar lightweight and comfortable for long sets, while also helping to control feedback on loud stages. The chambering adds resonance and sustain, giving you a more natural and expressive amplified nylon tone.
• Fusion Neck with 48 mm Nut - A C shaped Fusion neck with a 48 mm nut width offers a playing feel that is closer to a steel string or electric guitar. This makes it ideal for players crossing over to nylon strings, providing easy chord grips and smooth lead playing without the wider classical neck profile.
• Solid Spruce Top with Flamed Maple Black Burst Veneer - The solid spruce top ensures clarity, projection and responsiveness, while the ultra-thin flamed maple veneer in Black Burst adds a premium, modern aesthetic. Together with fan bracing and the mahogany body, it produces a warm yet focused tone that responds beautifully to your dynamics.
• Fishman Co-developed Stage Pickup System - By blending an undersaddle piezo with internal body sensors, the Stage Pickup System delivers a full, natural nylon sound that sits perfectly in a mix. Onboard Volume, EQ and Body Blend controls let you quickly shape your tone to suit different venues and styles, from intimate solo sets to full band performances.
