WIDI Uhost turns any class compliant USB MIDI device into a premium Bluetooth MIDI controller or sound module. Simply plug, pair and play via the USB port of your keyboard, pad controller, synth, audio interface or computer. You can transmit and receive all standard MIDI messages, including notes, CC, MIDI clock, SysEx and MPE, so your entire performance data travels wirelessly without compromise.

Ultra Low Latency and High Speed

Using CME’s Smart Connectivity Algorithms, WIDI Uhost delivers an ultra low latency of around 3ms when used between two WIDI devices. By intelligently managing radio traffic and minimising interference, it keeps timing tight and responsive, even in busy wireless environments. While traditional MIDI runs at 31.25 kbps over cable, WIDI technology can reach up to 400 kbps, giving your wireless MIDI connection plenty of headroom for complex performances and data-heavy setups.

As a USB host, WIDI Uhost can power and connect class compliant USB MIDI devices directly, allowing them to communicate wirelessly with other MIDI hardware or Bluetooth-equipped computers and mobiles. Its smart power split design lets you keep a single USB power source for both your bus-powered MIDI controller and the WIDI Uhost itself, helping you streamline power management and reduce clutter on stage or in the studio.

You can pair USB MIDI devices with Bluetooth MIDI gear using a single WIDI Uhost, or use multiple WIDI units to create more complex routing between hardware, computers and mobile devices.
