Chauvet Hurricane Haze 1DX Smoke Machine

The Chauvet Hurricane Haze 1DX is a compact, water-based hazer designed to add a smooth, atmospheric haze that makes your lighting pop without overpowering the room. With fast heat-up, simple digital control and ultra-quiet operation, it is ideal for DJs, bands, venues and houses of worship that want professional-looking beams and gobos with minimal fuss.

Thanks to its built-in digital display, you can set DMX addressing or dial in stand-alone haze levels directly on the unit, with no external controller required. A low fluid sensor protects the pump and helps extend the life of the machine, while the small footprint and lightweight design make it easy to position on stage, in a rig or discreetly at the side of the room.

Subtle, Even Haze for Better Lighting

The Hurricane Haze 1DX creates a thin, even haze that enhances any light show by revealing crisp beams and richer colours. Because it uses water-based fluid, the haze disperses smoothly and feels comfortable for audiences and performers, helping your lighting look more expensive and professional.

Simple Control with Built-in Display

All key functions are accessible from the integrated digital display, so you can quickly set DMX addresses or run the unit in stand-alone mode. You can adjust the haze output speed directly from the panel, making it easy to fine-tune the atmosphere for anything from subtle ambience to a more dramatic stage look.

Quiet Operation for Any Environment

A silent running fan keeps the Hurricane Haze 1DX unobtrusive during performances, speeches and ceremonies. This makes it suitable for environments where noise is a concern, such as theatres, corporate events and houses of worship, as well as more traditional live music and DJ settings.

Compact and Road-Friendly Design

Weighing just 3.3 kg with a small footprint, the Hurricane Haze 1DX is easy to transport, store and position. Whether you are a mobile DJ, a touring band or fitting out a small venue, it slots neatly into tight spaces and can be integrated into your rig without dominating the stage.

• Compact, Lightweight Hazer - The small footprint and 3.3 kg weight make the Hurricane Haze 1DX ideal for mobile rigs and tight stages. It is easy to carry, quick to set up and simple to tuck away, so you can add atmosphere without sacrificing valuable space.
• Digital Display with Stand-alone Control - The built-in digital display lets you set DMX addressing and adjust haze output speed directly on the unit. This removes the need for an external controller and allows fast, precise control whether you are running a full DMX show or a simple stand-alone setup.
• Silent Running Fan - A quiet fan keeps noise to a minimum, so the hazer can run throughout performances, services or presentations without drawing attention. This is especially useful in intimate venues, theatres and corporate environments where a noisy machine would be distracting.
• Low Fluid Sensor Protection - An integrated sensor automatically stops the pump when fluid levels are low, helping to protect the internal components and prolong the life of the unit. This also gives you peace of mind during longer events, reducing the risk of damage if the tank runs dry.
