Product Description
The Chauvet D-Fi XLR RX is a compact, battery-powered wireless DMX receiver that turns any compatible fixture with an XLR input into a cable-free unit. Simply plug it into the XLR port of your light and you can receive DMX or master/slave signals wirelessly, helping you tidy up your rig, speed up setup, and keep cables off the floor.
Using Chauvet DJs D-Fi technology, the D-Fi XLR RX provides reliable wireless communication over distances up to 50 metres (unobstructed), with handy LED indicators that clearly show your wireless channel status. With an internal rechargeable battery, it runs for up to 10 hours on a single charge and does not need an external power supply during use, making it ideal for mobile DJs, events companies, and venues looking for a clean, flexible lighting setup.
Instant Wireless DMX for Existing Fixtures
D-Fi XLR RX is designed to upgrade your existing DMX-compatible fixtures without any modification. Plug it straight into the XLR input of your light and it immediately becomes part of your wireless DMX network. This saves time during setup, reduces cable runs, and gives you far more freedom when positioning fixtures around a room, stage, or venue.
Battery Powered for Cable Free Operation
With its built-in rechargeable battery, D-Fi XLR RX can run for up to 10 hours on a full charge. There is no need to hunt for extra power sockets or run additional mains leads, which is especially useful for uplighting, truss warmers, or fixtures placed in hard-to-reach areas. A 2.5 hour recharge time keeps turnaround between events quick and efficient.
Clear Wireless Channel Feedback
LED indicators on the D-Fi XLR RX provide an at-a-glance view of wireless channel operation. This visual feedback makes it easy to confirm that each receiver is on the correct channel and communicating properly, simplifying troubleshooting and helping you get your system up and running quickly, even in busy changeovers.
Compact and Lightweight Design
Weighing just 45 g and small enough to sit neatly on the back of a fixture, the D-Fi XLR RX is designed to stay out of the way. Its low-profile form factor keeps your rig looking clean and professional, while still delivering a robust wireless link that is fully CE, FCC and RTTE compliant.
