Building your perfect modular & Eurorack synth starts with the right power supply. A good power supply is essential for keeping your Eurorack system running reliably and safely. Each eurorack module connects to the system’s power via a ribbon cable, usually with 10 or 16 pins, which plugs into a bus board inside your case – distributing power from a power module or dedicated power unit and ensuring each part of your setup gets the voltage it needs.
Most systems use +12V and -12V rails, with some digital modules also requiring +5V. It's important to check your total power needs and choose a supply with enough current - and a bit of headroom - for stable performance.
