Woodrite Guitars

Bold looks, brutal tones and C Standard tuning straight from the factory — that's what Woodrite guitars are all about! These doom-ready riff machines are the brainchild of Steve Reis of Does It Doom and Woodbine Guitars, established in 2021. The story began when Steve's first ever YouTube video featuring a Woodbine Guitars Custom Shop model quickly attracted a surge of orders. But the high costs and long wait times associated with those handcrafted electric guitars made them unattainable for many fanatics.

Custom Shop inspiration (without the hefty price)

This kicked off a conversation about scaling up production of Woodbine's designs to make them more affordable while maintaining the feel, sound, craftsmanship and aesthetics that fans of the high-end instruments had come to love. Woodrite Guitars' goal is to combine the precision of traditional guitar building with the advantages of modern manufacturing, giving musicians access to custom shop-style quality at a more attainable price point.

Heavy to the core

Woodrite electric guitars are built to sound massive. Both the Warlord and Revelator models feature Mahogany bodies and necks paired with Ebony fingerboards, delivering a thick, resonant tonal foundation with sustain to spare. Whether you're laying down crushing rhythm parts or tearing into fuzz-drenched solos, their medium "C" neck profiles feel comfortable and supportive in the hands. Plus, jumbo stainless steel frets let you really dig into big bends while offering the durability needed to withstand years of hard playing.

Brutish ‘buckers

Designed to thrive under copious amounts of gain, Woodrite's Barbarian humbuckers sound tight, focused and incredibly punchy. Roll back the volume control and they'll clean up surprisingly well too, giving you plenty of versatility when the situation calls for it. With dedicated tone controls for each pickup too, dialling in thicker, throatier sounds couldn't be easier.

Battle-ready hardware

Woodrite guitars are built to take a beating. TonePros tune-o-matic bridges and stopbar tailpieces provide a rock-solid platform for palm-muted chugs, while Graph Tech TUSQ XL nuts and Grover tuners help keep your tuning stable through even the most punishing riff sessions.
