Taylor 600 Series Acoustic Guitars

Taylor have a reputation for unparalleled craftsmanship. Their instruments offer supreme tone, beautiful aesthetics, and stunning attention to detail - all things that have helped them become one of the most popular guitar brands in the world.

With the 600 Series, they've employed maple for the backs and sides. Maple is known for its density, resulting in a tight, sparkly tone, not to mention a stunning variety of grains.

They've coupled the wood choice with a number of design tweaks; the customised bracing has been carefully adjusted to complement and harness the brightness of the maple. The wood thickness is painstakingly optimised to further refine the voicing of the wood, with different gauges for each body shape. Similarly to the 800 Series, they've also used protein glue for the bracing and bridge, allowing a more natural resonance. Ebony is used for the binding, pickguard and a number of other components, adding to the tonewood cocktail and offering a slick contrasting look to boot.

These appointments deliver a thoroughly warm, full-bodied tone that you might not expect from a guitar featuring a maple body construction. Check out our selection of Taylor 600 Series acoustics below!
