The Mahalo Hano Concert ukulele is a great beginners ukulele that has the look and sound of a proper musical instrument. With its classy aesthetic, familiar yet full sound, and affordable price point its hard to beat.
About Mahalo
Mahalo was founded in 1999, interestingly enough in Nagoya, Japan. The vision for the company was to design proper ukuleles at an affordable price point. Musical instruments rather than toys. Since then Mahalo have gone on to become one of the biggest ukulele brands in the world and have done so by staying true to their vision of playable yet affordable instruments.
Hano Series
The Hano series are made from sengon, and feature high gloss transparent finishes which look great and allow the natural grain of the wood to come through. The Hano series feature Graph Tech NuBone XB bridge saddles for projection and come fitted with Aquila Super Nylgut strings for a full, balanced sound.
Concert Size
The concert is slightly bigger than the classic soprano size ukulele. It has a similar tone to the soprano with a little less brightness and a little more fullness. It's perfect for those who want the familiar ukulele tone but struggle to play comfortably on the smaller soprano.
Here's What Mahalo Say About the Hano Series
Manufactured to our exacting standards the Mahalo Hano Series stands out in its class as an entry level instrument for new players or for seasoned players wanting to add an affordable, high-quality ukulele to their collection. Featuring distinctive high-gloss, transparent finishes, gold plated machine heads along with Graph Tech NuBone XB bridge saddles and Aquila Super Nylgut strings these instruments represent amazing value for money.
