    Product Description

The Ibanez Steve Vai JEM is among the most recognisable guitars of all time. Unique features that are both razor sharp and strikingly organic make for a precise, timeless instrument that's favoured by countless players.

With the JEM-JR, Ibanez have retained the crucial features that put the JEM model on the map, while adjusting some of the woods, hardware and electronics to bring this eccentric guitar to the masses.

Now more affordable than ever before, this is your best chance to get hold of a truly iconic guitar and shred to your hearts content!

Here's what Ibanez have to say about the JEM-JR in yellow

When Steve Vai teamed up with Ibanez in 1987, little did he realize what a lasting impact his signature model guitar would have. Today, the JEM is an iconic instrument immediately identified with the legendary guitarist. Famous for its distinctive look and innovative design, time has seen this popular, upscale guitar become the most counterfeited model in the world.

In an effort to make the JEM available to a broader fan base, Ibanez has released the JEMJR, providing more affordable access to the magic that is the JEM. Featuring a mahogany body attached to a Wizard III neck, the JEMJR offers many of the JEMs distinguishing characteristics; the H/S/H pickup configuration, the Tree of Life inlay, a double locking tremolo system, and, of course, the famous Monkey grip and Lion's Claw tremolo cavity. Case sold separately.

Love it. Just what I needed. Some of the fretboard inlays were cracked though. Also some small marks on the fretboard (near the pickup). Looks like a manufacturing fault (solder burns)? All good elsewhere.

Nice looking guitar but mine had slight mark along fret 2 to 4 near thin E string on the Jatoba fretboard so not sure how it will hold up in future Not played plugged in yet so cannot comment on pickups Paint work is okay but a bit rough near the monkey grip which they are known for.

When they were covered around the sensors, it would be better, but otherwise, it sounds and looks great. The guitar was both well-tuned and tuned, just a little fine-tuning.

Great, well built guitar for the price. Comfortable when playing, makes you want to pick it up even when you just have 5 minutes. Excellent bright colour, stays in tune.
