The Gibson Les Paul Junior Tribute DC is rightfully named after its homage to the EB-0 made in the late ‘50s. The only exception is this beast of a bass is kitted out with modern hardware, pristine build quality and a sleek new aesthetic.
Body & Neck
It has a classic Mahogany body and Maple neck pairing to provide both physical and tonal balance to its 30.5” scale length. This bass is meant to be played live. On top of the rounded neck is a truly vintage Rosewood fretboard embedded with 20 easy-to-play frets.
Sound
The LP Junior seriously growls. It puts its sole Bassbucker humbucker to good use, getting characterful tone out of its double cutaway body. Its defined by its retro grunt and full frequency.
It also has a push/pull volume knob to coil tap the pickup. This means it takes the sound from an earlier stage in the humbucker, adding a vintage tone to its arsenal.
Hardware
You’ll love the comfortable three-point adjustable aluminium bridge on your picking hand, letting you play for extended periods of time.
Its combination of Hipshot Ultra-Light tuning heads and Graph Tech keeps the LP Junior Tribute in precise tuning. You can get on with rocking out without worrying about tuning issues.
