The DW Performance series drums are hard wearing, well designed and play with a low, punchy tone that's loud enough for live play without losing character.Made from 10 ply North American Maple and with what DW describe as the "newest grain orientation technology" performance Series maple drums are lacquered inside for enhanced brightness and attack and finished in natural hand-sprayed lacquer to show off the natural beauty of the wood
Solid shells
Performance Series offers a brand new shell technology devised by John Good and the DW Custom Shell Shop in California. Combining the latest grain orientation technology and hand-selected North American Hard Rock Maple, Performance Series' proprietary HVX shells deliver a low, punchy fundamental, with ample resonance and projection that's perfectly suited for live applications.
Performance Series 8" Toms feature a 7-ply HVX construction, while the Snares feature 10-ply HVX, and the 10"-16", along with all Bass Drums, feature 8-ply HVX construction.
Hardware ColorsPerformance Series drums are available exclusively in Chrome. This includes lugs, hoops, STM™, and tom legs. The Performance Series "turret lug" is a scaled-down version of the famous round DW lug, while the snare drums get a unique "propeller" look all their own.
Graduated Counter HoopsPerformance Series are available exclusively with Chrome Standard Triple Flange Hoops to give your drums a great versatile sound. Steel Triple Flange Hoops come in graduated weights (1.6mm for 8 & 10" toms, 2.3mm for 12-18" toms, and 3.0mm for snares).
STM™ - Suspension Tom MountDW’s patented STM™ (suspension tom mount) system allows drums to vibrate freely, allowing maximum resonance while securely holding the drum in place. Because there are no washers or grommets inhibiting the lug rod receiver, choking is reduced and tuning is as easy as ever.
DW MAG Snare Throw-off SystemDW Throwoffs Performance Series comes with the all-new MAG™ throw-off finished in Chrome. A purposefully simple design, the MAG™ (U.S. Patent No. 7,902,444) is a workhorse drop throw-off with horizontal tension adjustment and smooth, easy-adjust action. It gets its name from a clever magnet that's integrated into the body of the throw-off. When the handle is in the up position, it won’t release without a slight tug. When it does release it throws the strainer completely off the head to avoid any strainer buzz.

How do I use instant finance?
It's simple! Just add the products you want to your basket and click the "Checkout" button in your basket. Go through the checkout process and tick the "Finance" option under "Select Your Payment Method". You can then choose which finance term you'd like to apply for, and change your deposit if you wish.
At the end of the checkout you'll be taken to the V12 Finance web site. This is where your finance application is processed. Assuming your application is accepted you'll be able to place your deposit and confirm your order right there.
Then, your order will come through to Andertons and we'll send you the goods. Get approval before 3pm and we'll send your order out the same working day (stock permitting) for next working day delivery!
Who can apply for finance?
