Product Description
The B.C. Rich Rich B Legacy in Pearl White is a modern metal workhorse that blends the brand’s iconic attitude with cutting-edge performance. Featuring a neck-through mahogany body, USA-made DiMarzio D Activator pickups and premium Tone Pros and Grover hardware, it is built from the ground up for speed, stability and crushing tone on stage or in the studio.
With its fast 24 5/8 inch scale neck, 24 jumbo frets and ebony fretboard, the Rich B Legacy offers effortless playability for intricate riffs and searing solos. Add in the fully intonatable wraparound bridge, locking tuners and high-performance D’Addario NYXL strings, and you have a precision instrument that stays in tune and responds to every nuance of your playing.
Neck-Through Mahogany Body
The Rich B Legacy uses B.C. Rich’s classic neck-through construction with a solid mahogany (Nyatoh Palaquium) body and contrasting wood stringers. This design maximises sustain and resonance by running the neck all the way through the body, giving you a powerful, even response across all strings with excellent note definition, perfect for tight rhythm work and long singing leads.
Fast, Comfortable Ebony Neck
A three-piece hard rock maple neck with a comfortable C-shape profile and 24 5/8 inch scale delivers a slick, familiar feel under the fingers. The Indian ebony fretboard, 14 inch radius and 24 jumbo nickel frets make big bends, fast legato and precise vibrato feel effortless, while the cloud inlays keep you locked in on dark stages.
USA DiMarzio D Activator Pickups
Loaded with a pair of USA-made DiMarzio D Activator humbuckers (DP219 in the neck, DP220 in the bridge), this guitar is voiced for modern high-gain tones with tight low end, articulate mids and cutting highs. They deliver the aggression and clarity needed for extreme metal, yet clean up well with the volume controls for more dynamic, expressive playing.
Premium Tone Pros & Grover Hardware
A locking, fully intonatable wraparound bridge with Tone-Pros AVT2M tailpiece provides rock-solid tuning stability and excellent string-to-body transfer. Paired with Grover Imperials Super Rotomatic locking tuners (18:1 ratio) and a Graphtech nut, the Rich B Legacy stays in tune through heavy riffing, wide bends and aggressive picking, letting you focus entirely on your performance.
Features
- Neck-Through Mahogany Construction - The neck-through body design with mahogany (Nyatoh Palaquium) wings delivers exceptional sustain, resonance and structural stability. This gives your sound more punch and clarity, ideal for tight, articulate metal tones.
- USA DiMarzio D Activator Humbuckers - A DP219 in the neck and DP220 in the bridge provide high-output, noise-free performance with razor-sharp attack and detailed harmonics. They excel with high-gain amps, keeping complex chords and rapid riffs clear and defined.
- High-Performance Ebony Fretboard - The Indian ebony fretboard with a 14 inch radius and 24 jumbo frets offers a smooth, fast playing surface. It enhances note articulation and attack, making technical runs, sweeps and bends feel controlled and precise.
- Tone Pros Bridge & Grover Locking Tuners - The locking wraparound bridge and Tone-Pros AVT2M tailpiece work with Grover Imperials Super Rotomatic locking tuners and a Graphtech nut to keep tuning rock solid. Combined with D’Addario NYXL 09-42 strings, you get improved tuning consistency and durability for demanding live sets.
