The Korg Opsix Altered Six-Operator FM Synthesizer reimagines the FM synthesis paradigm, combining the rich heritage of frequency modulation synthesis with contemporary innovations to create a truly unique instrument. This synthesizer is designed to break the mold, offering an intuitive interface that simplifies complex sound design while providing deep and versatile sonic capabilities. At its core, the Opsix features a powerful six-operator FM engine that goes beyond traditional FM synthesis by incorporating a wide array of waveforms and modulators, opening up new realms of sound creation and makes FM synthesis accessable.
Innovative FM Engine:
The heart of the Opsix is its groundbreaking six-operator FM synthesis engine. Unlike traditional FM synthesizers that are often limited to sine wave operators, the Opsix expands the sonic possibilities by incorporating a variety of waveforms and modulation types. Hands-On Controls:
One of the standout features of the Opsix is its user-friendly interface, which is designed to make the process of FM synthesis as intuitive as possible. The front panel is equipped with a plethora of controls, including knobs, sliders, and buttons, that provide direct access to the synthesizer's key parameters. This hands-on approach allows for real-time adjustments, making it easy to experiment with and fine-tune your sounds on the fly.
Comprehensive Effects Section:
The Opsix is not just a synthesizer, it's also a powerful effects processor. It comes equipped with a robust selection of built-in effects that can be used to enhance and transform your sounds.
