Arturia Pure Sub is a dedicated bass synthesiser built from the ground up for creating deep, punchy and characterful low end. Rather than treating bass as just another sound, Pure Sub gives you dedicated control over the fundamental, harmonics and texture, making it easy to build everything from clean 808s and powerful sub bass to wide Reese basses and aggressive neuro textures.

Shape your foundation across independent Sub and Harmonics stages, then add character using the Texture Engine, with noise, corrosion, ring modulation, AM and distortion options available for further sound design. More than 40 filter modes provide detailed tonal control, while the Sub Processor transforms your sound through 33 dedicated distortion, texture and shaping modes.

Pure Sub is equally suited to movement and performance. Three envelopes, six flexible modulators, four macros, modulation sidechain and MPE support give you extensive control over evolving bass sounds. An integrated FX Rack with 19 effects and a dedicated Maximiser help take your sounds from raw synthesis to finished, powerful low end.

Choose between Pressure and Reese Harmonics modes for contrasting approaches to harmonic content, while Sub Regen can restore a clean fundamental after processing. The Texture Engine adds another dimension through Noise Sample and Corrosion modes, with Noise, Sine, Saw and Square sources available for further experimentation. Whether you are designing a weighty 808, wide Reese bass, deep drone or aggressive electronic bassline, Pure Sub gives you the tools to build the sound from its foundation upwards.

More than 40 filter modes give you detailed control over the tonal balance of the Sub, Harmonics and Texture stages, with independent routing allowing each layer to be shaped precisely. The Sub Processor takes this further with 33 modes designed specifically for distortion, texture and tonal reshaping. A global Amount control and six shaping macros make complex processing quick to manipulate, while mode and macro randomisation can introduce unexpected results when you want to experiment. Complete your sound using the FX Rack, which provides 19 effects across 12 slots, followed by Soft or Hard Maximiser modes for controlled, powerful output.

Pure Sub is designed for bass sounds that move, evolve and respond to your playing. Three envelopes, including a dedicated Pitch Envelope, provide detailed control over how your sound develops, while six flexible modulator slots can animate almost any parameter.
