If the only available stock is in our off-site warehouse it can be brought to the store location for you to try - you just need to contact the store within opening hours. Please note any requests received after 3.30pm will not arrive at the store until the following morning.

The Alvarez Masterworks MF60E Folk OM Electro Acoustic in Natural is an all-solid, elegantly voiced OM designed for players who crave balance, clarity and responsiveness. With its AAA Sitka spruce top, solid African mahogany back and sides, and LR Baggs HiFi electronics, it delivers articulate acoustic tone and a natural, studio-quality sound when plugged in, making it a superb all-rounder for fingerstyle, flatpicking and strumming alike.
Carefully voiced around Alvarez’s FS6 forward-shifted bracing, the MF60E offers impressive balance in both tonality and volume across all six strings. Notes speak quickly and cleanly, with a focused low end, clear mids and shimmering highs that never become harsh. Whether you are accompanying vocals, playing intricate arrangements or switching between styles, this OM responds instantly and musically to every nuance of your touch.
The smaller OM body is paired with a lighter X-brace design to keep the trademark roundness and speed of response associated with this shape, while opening up the projection for a more expansive, room-filling sound. The result is a guitar that feels intimate under the hands yet carries confidently, equally at home on stage, in the studio or on the sofa.
Premium touches run throughout the instrument, from the East Indian rosewood fingerboard and bi-level bridge to the bone nut and saddle and open-gear tuners.
