The DJM-V5 equips each of its three channels with a 4-band EQ inherited from the flagship DJM-V10, splitting the spectrum into low, low-mid, high-mid and high. This lets you target problem frequencies or emphasise key elements without upsetting the rest of the mix. You can gently tuck low mids out of the way of a vocal, or lift high mids to bring a lead to the front, all while keeping the overall tone balanced and musical rather than extreme.

Long-Throw Faders And Soft Mix Curve

Each channel features a 60 mm long-throw fader, giving you more physical travel for precise level control. This extra length makes slow blends and detailed transitions feel smoother and more controlled, especially when you are working across multiple layers. The Soft Mix Curve subtly shapes high frequencies as you bring in the next track, helping to avoid harsh overlaps and making your transitions sound more natural and refined.
