The Allen & Heath SQ7+ is a 48 channel, 96kHz digital mixer designed for engineers who demand maximum hands-on control. With 33 motorised faders, 16 assignable SoftKeys, 8 SoftRotaries and a new dark GUI on a 9 inch touchscreen, it puts complex shows, installs and broadcast mixes right at your fingertips, all powered by the same XCVI 96kHz core and RackUltra FX engines found across the SQ+ range.

Built around Allen & Heath’s XCVI FPGA engine, SQ7+ delivers ultra-low latency, variable bit-depth processing and world-class FX, with DEEP processing models and advanced Automatic Mic Mixing ready for demanding live sound, AV and corporate applications. Extensive analogue and digital I/O, plus the 128x128 Intelligent SLink port and expansion slot, make it easy to integrate into Everything I/O systems, audio networks and multi-console setups.

Hands-on Control for Demanding Shows

The SQ7+ gives you 33 motorised 100mm faders across 6 customisable layers, so you can keep inputs, mixes, FX returns and DCAs exactly where you want them. Sixteen SoftKeys and eight SoftRotaries are fully assignable, letting you trigger scenes, tap tempos, adjust sends or tweak key parameters instantly without menu diving.

Fast, Intuitive Interface

At the heart of SQ7+ is a responsive 9 inch capacitive touchscreen with an all-new dark GUI that is easy to read in any environment. Channels and mixes can be dragged and dropped to any strip, with custom naming and colour coding on the displays, while Chromatic channel metering gives precise, at-a-glance level indication down to -72dB using variable brightness and colour LEDs.

Powerful Processing and FX

Every input channel is fully equipped with HPF, a super-fast gate with sidechain and filter, 4 band parametric EQ with RTA, compressor and insert point, while all mixes feature both parametric and 28 band graphic EQ plus compression. Eight RackExtra FX engines and four RackUltra FX engines provide a total of twelve FX slots with dedicated stereo sends and returns, covering everything from classic reverbs and delays to premium reverbs, vocal tuning, pitch processing, distortion and saturation.

Flexible Connectivity and Expansion

The 128x128 Intelligent SLink port connects SQ7+ to the Allen & Heath Everything I/O ecosystem, including remote stageboxes, expanders and other A&H consoles. A dedicated I/O expansion slot supports optional Dante, MADI, Waves and additional SLink cards, making SQ7+ a natural choice for complex multi-format systems, FOH/monitor splits and broadcast rigs.

Recording, Streaming and AMM

With a built-in 32x32 USB audio interface and SQ-Drive, SQ7+ handles multitrack recording, backing track playback, livestreaming and virtual soundcheck without extra hardware. Two independent 24 channel Automatic Mic Mixers, or a single 48 channel AMM, make it ideal for conferences, panels and broadcast, while free SQ+ MixPad and SQ+4You apps give engineers and performers wireless control from anywhere in the venue.

Every input and mix has comprehensive processing including HPF, parametric EQ, compressor, gate and delay, so you can shape every source and bus with precision.
• Twelve FX Engines with DEEP Processing Support - Eight RackExtra FX engines and four RackUltra FX engines, each with dedicated stereo returns, give you a powerful internal FX rack for reverbs, delays, modulation, vocal tuning, pitch processing, distortion and more. DEEP processing add-ons embed classic analogue-style models directly into channels and mixes with no added latency, and can be deployed across the console simultaneously.
• Comprehensive I/O and Everything I/O Expansion - Onboard connectivity includes 32 XLR mic/line inputs, 16 XLR outputs, multiple stereo line inputs, TRS outputs, AES3 digital out and a stereo headphone output. The 128x128 Intelligent SLink port and 64x64 I/O expansion slot (up to 128x128 with SLink card) open up large-scale systems, remote I/O and integration with other Allen & Heath consoles and audio networks.
• Integrated USB Recording, Streaming and DAW Control - SQ7+ features USB-A for stereo and multichannel record/playback direct to a USB drive, plus USB-B for 32x32 audio interfacing at 48 or 96kHz. This makes it straightforward to capture live shows, run virtual soundchecks, feed livestreams and integrate with your DAW, with MIDI control emulation available via USB or TCP/IP using the Allen & Heath MIDI Control app.
