Alesis Strata Core Cymbal Pad 16" Triple-Zone w/ Choke

The Alesis Strata Core 16" Triple-Zone Cymbal Pad is a premium electronic cymbal designed to deliver an expressive, acoustic-style playing experience for modern e-drum setups. With three independent trigger zones and a responsive choke function, it gives you detailed control over every accent, swell and crash, making it ideal for drummers who demand nuance and realism from their electronic kit.

Engineered for compatibility with the Alesis Strata Core system, this 16" pad offers a familiar acoustic cymbal diameter and a natural playing feel. The triple-zone layout lets you assign distinct sounds to the bow, edge and bell, while the choke feature allows for immediate, musical cut-offs. Whether you are refining your studio kit, upgrading a live rig or expanding your sound palette, this pad provides a powerful, flexible way to enhance your performance.

The responsive surface is designed to track everything from delicate ghosted patterns to aggressive crashes, translating your touch into consistent, reliable triggering. Combined with the Strata Core sound engine, it opens up a wide range of expressive possibilities, from realistic cymbal articulations to creative electronic textures. The result is a pad that feels inspiring to play and integrates seamlessly into a modern hybrid or fully electronic drum setup.

For drummers who want more than a simple crash trigger, the Alesis Strata Core 16" Triple-Zone Cymbal Pad offers a significant step up in control and musicality. Its multi-zone design, choke capability and acoustic-style size make it a smart upgrade for players looking to get the most out of their electronic drums.

Triple-Zone Expressiveness

With dedicated bow, edge and bell zones, the Strata Core 16" cymbal pad lets you trigger three distinct sounds from a single cymbal. This gives you the same kind of articulation you would expect from an acoustic cymbal, allowing you to play detailed ride patterns, defined bell accents and powerful edge crashes without compromise.

Integrated Choke Control

The built-in choke function allows you to instantly mute the cymbal sound with your hand, just like a real cymbal. This makes sharp stops, tight accents and dramatic cut-offs easy to execute, adding a more musical and performance-focused feel to your playing.

16" Acoustic-Style Playing Surface

The 16" diameter provides a familiar target and playing area, making the transition from acoustic to electronic cymbals feel more natural. The larger surface helps with stick placement, comfort and confidence, particularly for live performance and more advanced techniques.

Designed for Strata Core Integration

Created to work in harmony with the Alesis Strata Core system, this cymbal pad is tailored for reliable triggering and consistent response. It offers a straightforward way to expand your kit with additional cymbal voices while maintaining a cohesive feel and workflow across your entire setup.

• Triple-Zone Triggering - Separate bow, edge and bell zones allow you to assign and play three different cymbal sounds from one pad, giving you a more complete and expressive cymbal voice in your electronic kit.
• Choke Function - The responsive choke capability lets you grab the cymbal to cut the sound instantly, enabling tight stops, stabs and musical accents that closely mirror acoustic cymbal techniques.
• 16" Diameter - A full-size 16" playing surface offers a comfortable, acoustic-like feel, making it easier to adapt your existing technique and maintain accuracy during fast or dynamic passages.
• Strata Core System Ready - Purpose-built for use with the Alesis Strata Core platform, this pad integrates smoothly into compatible setups, providing consistent triggering and a unified playing experience across your cymbals and drums.
