Product Description
The Ibanez TS808 Tube Screamer Reissue is the classic green overdrive that defined generations of guitar tone. Faithfully recreating the sound and feel of the original late 1970s pedal, it delivers that unmistakable midrange push, smooth clipping and amp-like warmth that has appeared on countless records and stages worldwide.
Loaded with the coveted JRC4558D IC chip and all-analogue circuitry, this reissue captures the touch sensitivity and musical response that made the TS808 a legend. Whether you are using it as a low-gain drive, a mid-boost for solos or a way to push a valve amp into sweet saturation, the TS808 remains one of the most musical and versatile overdrives available.
From bedroom practice rigs to fully cranked stacks, the Tube Screamer helps your guitar sit perfectly in the mix, adding focus and sustain without smothering your core tone. Its simple three-knob layout makes it quick to dial in, while the compact, road-ready enclosure is instantly recognisable on any pedalboard.
Iconic Tube Screamer Tone
The TS808 is renowned for its smooth, tube-like overdrive with a pronounced but musical midrange hump. This helps your guitar cut through a band mix while retaining clarity and note definition. It is equally at home adding a touch of grit to clean tones or tightening up high-gain amps for articulate rhythm work.
Faithful Analogue Reissue
Ibanez have recreated the original circuit with the JRC4558D IC chip and analogue design that made the first TS808s so sought after. This gives you the same dynamic response, natural compression and organic breakup that vintage collectors chase, but in a brand-new, reliable pedal.
Simple, Effective Controls
With just Overdrive, Tone and Level controls, the TS808 is incredibly easy to use. You can quickly move from a subtle boost to a singing lead tone, fine-tune the brightness to match your guitar and amp, and set the output to sit perfectly in your rig. No menus or presets, just instant, intuitive control.
Classic Look and Feel
The TS808 Reissue retains the famous bright green enclosure and square footswitch that made the original instantly recognisable. It is a timeless design that feels solid underfoot and looks right at home on any pedalboard, from vintage-inspired rigs to modern setups.
