Product Description
The Focal Alpha 65 Evo is a compact, active 2-way studio monitor designed to reveal the smallest details in your mix. Combining a 6.5-inch Slatefiber woofer with a 1-inch aluminium inverted dome tweeter, it delivers punchy, controlled low end, articulate mids and smooth, detailed highs, making it a powerful yet versatile choice for producers, engineers and content creators working in a wide range of rooms.
With multiple input options, acoustic tuning controls and a robust, modern cabinet design, the Alpha 65 Evo integrates easily into almost any studio setup. Its precise imaging, wide sweet spot and impressive SPL capability help you make confident decisions faster, whether you are tracking, mixing or editing audio for video.
Detailed, Neutral Monitoring
The Alpha 65 Evo is built for accuracy, offering a neutral tonal balance that lets you hear your mix as it really is. The Slatefiber woofer and aluminium tweeter work together to provide a clear, revealing sound across the full 40 Hz to 22 kHz frequency range, so you can judge low-end weight, midrange presence and high-frequency detail with confidence.
Slatefiber Woofer for Punch and Control
At the heart of the Alpha 65 Evo is a 6.5-inch Slatefiber cone woofer, using Focal’s proprietary composite membrane technology. This delivers fast, tight bass and a solid low-mid response, helping kick drums, bass lines and synths sit correctly in the mix while keeping the overall sound controlled and focused.
Wide Sweet Spot and Room Coverage
Thanks to its carefully engineered dispersion and bass-reflex design with a large laminar port, the Alpha 65 Evo maintains a consistent sound throughout the room. The wide sweet spot makes it easier to move around your workspace without losing perspective, ideal for collaborative sessions or multi-purpose studios.
Flexible Connectivity and Tuning
TRS, XLR and RCA inputs allow the Alpha 65 Evo to slot into a variety of setups, from audio interfaces and monitor controllers to DJ mixers and consumer devices. Onboard HF and LF shelving controls, plus adjustable sensitivity and auto-standby options, let you tailor the speaker’s response and behaviour to your room and workflow.
Modern, Robust Cabinet
The Alpha 65 Evo features rounded contours, reinforced side panels and a front-ported bass-reflex design that looks professional and fits neatly into modern studio spaces. Its compact footprint and integrated mounting inserts make it suitable for desks, stands, wall or ceiling installations in project and professional environments alike.
